my friend just told me that there's a secret second dashboard that solely contains posts from people you've turned on post notifications for, and when i click the link in the messages it opens it within the tumblr app, so the tumblr app also has a secret second dashboard for post notification blogs, and the only way to access it is to open the link for it within the app.

I do not think it was a good idea to mainstream "femboy" as a piece of terminology on account of it being a transmisogynistic slur and especially one being used to deny transfemininity. Like idk, even assuming the most generous interpretation of the concept of "gender-nonconforming men who like to cross-dress" we already had terms like "gender-nonconforming" or perhaps "cross-dresser." But being less generous I don't think we should be taking probable transfems without the space to understand themselves as such and calling them a sexually-charged transmisogynistic slur as a means to euphemize or avoid mentioning or even outright deny that they could be trans women. It's not very nice and I think they deserve better :(

People bend over backwards to maintain the idea that the femboy identity in the modern sense is something other than transfemininity, right? So either they're not actually transfems and are just appropriating the terminology, in which case you shouldn't call them that, or they are transfems, meaning it actually is a reclaimed slur, in which case you also probably shouldn't call them that. Does the concept of slur reclamation mean nothing anymore??
