This is a tracking issue to create a task for updating the compiler's PGO profile, something that we currently typically do for every major Go release, so about once every 6 months (issue #60234).

It can be incorporated into the RC 1 workflow, or perhaps a little earlier, but after the freeze. It's worth considering where the PGO profile creation happens, and it might work well to use one of the perf builder/gomote types.
