Hi, I'm new to the community.

I had been a fan of Gil around the 1998-2000 era, but then I started losing interest as his TV appearances started to fade. Yesterday, I was going through my CD collection and realised that I still had his Here I Am CD that's dated back to 1998. So I wondered what he's been doing now, so I googled his name yesterday. I know this is not new, but holy crap, he cut his hair and I can't even recognize him anymore! It's been seven years since that CD was released and all of us are now at a different stage of our lives. So is Gil obviously. Can anyone tell me what his music is like now compared to what it was like back then? This is not an mp3 request, but can anyone tell me where I can hear samples of the new music?

Yeah. Hi. :::waves::: Just discovered that Gil is actually still working in music yesterday (from this community). I want the album now... nice voice, better songs than the pop ones. Still "hook"-y, but not sugar-sweet anymore. At least, not so much so.

Found the article on Silence Heals that says that Jon Bongiovi (sp?) likes the album and tapped Gil for his Munich show in the Olympic Stadium. Now, I'm not a huge Bon Jovi fan or anything, but that's just awesome. It's nice that an older rock band (however inane) can recognize that he's not full of shit, despite being a former cog in the whole teen pop phenomenon, albiet unwillingly. (Then again, BJ did the whole "cog" thing in the 80's, so whatever)

The new pictures... hee. Much distracted by the chest hair. Fuzzy guys are just... (I think I'm going to go off into La La Land now).
