Hey all!
So, a little over a year ago, I moved into some little townhouses in the middle of nowhere. It was something my mother and I could afford; and they were kind of cute.
Anyways, more than six months after we settled in, I started having these weird "look over your shoulder" moments. I would be walking up the stairs peacefully, then randomly start freaking out because of a feeling I had of something paranormal. I had always believed in the supernatural, but never experienced it. For a while I tried to ignore it, but come on: can you ignore that?
As the time passed, the feelings turned worse. I was always having them. And one night, when I was alone, it finally became unbearable.
I was doing an essay in my room for school, and was lying in a separate open room that is connected to my main room. As the minutes passed, I started to increasingly become anxious and frightened. I had this feeling that something was in my house. The feeling worsened and within a few minutes I was scared to death over something I couldn't even see or hear. I called my mother and later found the whole truth.
Turns out there was a spirit- actually, two spirits- living near my home in a dark forest (no matter what time of day, those woods always look threatening and unwelcoming). After a little research, I've found that a ghost of an unknown woman haunts a road near my home. The road isn't connected the the street I live on, so I'm not sure why she's always hanging around near us. My mother has actually seen the figure of a lady in white sweep past her out of the corner of her eye one night. When she looked, not a single person was in sight.
In my research I have also found that many others have witnessed the "Lady in White" on the road she was supposed to be haunting.
But to this day, I hate going into the room that I had that horrible feeling in. It has turned icy cold and dark, and the same feeling still lingers there. I was told that the spirit can't get into my house, but I'm not completely convinced.

Hi kids,
I'm in the middle of making a horror zine, "Midnight Society" and I wondered if anybody would be interested in it and what kind of thing you'd like to see in it. So far I've got a couple of short stories, horror movie reviews, general talk of ghosts, serial killers, urban legends, etc.
I'd appreciate any input whatsoever, also if anybody has anything they'd like to contribute, that would rock.
