Harry Potter movie was awesome, by the way. And is the reason why I've spent the last 4 or 5 hours reading HP fanfics (thank god for recs, because I would have never ventured into hp fanfic unguided. I found some great stuff thankfully though.)
I have an HP ship and it is strong. Thank goodness there's awesome stuff out there for it.

Stupid HP. How dare you make me interested in you again!

Ron/Hermione OTP!

I liked the movie, too! I was afraid that it might be slow, having split the book down the middle, and the first half of DH-the-book isn't the most exciting read at times, but I thought it was pretty good. Loved the animation on the story of the Hallows - that was amazing.

mechers - spill on your ship! I've never been a huge shipper with Harry Potter - I'm okay with the canon ships for the most part - but I have a fondness for Snape/anyone who doesn't treat him like shit within the fic itself, and there aren't a lot of those, so...

Yeah, they did a really good job overall I thought. I was happy for the animation too, as it's such an important part of the story, and it's hard to get so much information into a movie.

I'm not a huge shipper in general, and I am usually boring and just get into canon ships. Ron/Hermione is really interesting though to me, for some reason.
I'm afraid to get anything Snape related though, because I've read some of the scary stuff some of his crazier fans do!

I do like Ron/Hermione (more than Harry/Ginny, that's for sure), probably because ships usually go with the hero/main female instead of sidekick/sidekick, so it was nice to see for a change.

Haha, well, I don't actually read any Snape fic. I've read, like, three. Because most of it is weird and creepy and I'm not really into adult/underage character. Speaking of scary stuff, have you read about the Snapewives?!

Oh yes, I have read (perhaps too much) about the Snapewives and the other various types of extreme Snape fans. I couldn't help but laugh when he showed up in the movie because I was thinking about them.

And ugh, I had managed to forget about the creepy pairings of Snape (or any teachers) with the kids. *shudder*
