hey all! long time no update! i'm back at work with the third graders. my gangster child behavior problem has been absent all week and it's amazing how much the behavior of the class can be changed by one child! they have been so great this week! anyways, i am going to the iron maiden concert on saturday, which should be good drunk fun. and of course one of my favorite holidays...halloween is coming up. i have a vegas trip planned for december and a cruise in february. i better save up my money now that i have a car payment!!! alright, i need to go plan so i can go to bed.
bored at work
well, i'm bored at work like usual and i think i've done about all i can do on myspace for the time being so i guess i'll do a little update here. after i get off work i am going to heidi's house for her grandma's birthday. we are having a little party for her, possibly including playing dominos. raeanne is also going to be there so i'm gonna talk to her about my hair. i think i'm gonna try the whole dark underneith, light on top thing. she thinks it would look good so i'm gonna have her do it this week or next. i kinda want to do it this week, but i'm in the middle of a 2 week job and i don't think i want to go in there and shock all these people so i might wait until next week. next saturday is paul's birthday so we are going to the greenday concert for that. it should be fun. it will be paul, greg, heidi, and me. we know some other people that are also going so we might hang out with them before the concert. well, that's about all the excitement i have for now.

it's been a long, long time
well, it's hard to believe that i never update this thing anymore considering how addicted to it i used to be. i guess maybe myspace has just replaced it now that i'm addicted to myspace. i think i'm gonna try to get back into this, although i'm not sure how long it will last.
my houseboat trip was great. it was relaxing, fun, and i was in good company. we left around labor day and got back a week ago. i was very proud of myself...a week on the water and i didn't get fried! i actually did really well. i just wore spf 15 all week and i got some color without ending up miserable. i had so much fun hanging out with adam. it made me miss bowling days when i knew i would see him at least once or twice a week. now i'm lucky if i see him once a month. we just had so much fun together...playing games, goofing around, watching movies...whatever. i think we just have personalities that really mesh well together because i always have a blast hanging out with him.
while i was gone on my trip my dad put hardwood floors in my room. they look great. the wood is called purple heart and it's a dark purple/red color. i love it. i just hope it doesn't get too cold in the winter. our house is on a concrete slab, but my dad put plywood between the concrete and the floor so that should insulate it some.
how did everybody like the thunder and lightening last night? me? not so much. lightening actually hit on our street. my mom heard the sizzle and one of my neighbors saw the lightening strike with sparks. it was pretty damn scary and it seemed to be non-stop. everytime i thought it was gone, it would come back again!
i got a call today from the orange unified school district asking if i'd be interested in teaching a 2 week long summerschool intersession class. it starts monday and goes through the 7th. it would be 4 hours a day and i would get $32.51 an hour. the principal is supposed to call me tomorrow with details and to set up an orientation. hopefully it will work out. i think it will be a good experience for me.
i was feeling kinda down earlier tonight. i hate those moments where even though you think everything is okay it hits you that you are not as okay as you try to fool yourself into believing. i was considering calling somebody in particular to talk about it, but decided not to. instead i went to starbucks with cheryl and we ended up staying there about 3 hours just shootin' the shit. it made me feel much better, perhaps because it got my mind off of the things that are bothering me.
i'm going to the los angeles fair with my parents tomorrow. that should be fun. i love the fair and this one is huge.
well, i think i'll go to bed now incase the principal calls me at 7 a.m. i don't want to sound like i am dead asleep (even though i probably will be).

U2 Concerts
Well, I've now gone to 2 of my 3 U2 concerts. They were woderful! After the concert on Friday night, Heidi and I went to Vegas. We had fun. Her aunt is out of control. She puts us to shame! I was pretty upset when I was sitting here at work this morning and I looked down at the clock only to notice that it was 10:13 and the U2 tickets for Vegas that I wanted to try to get, had gone onsale 13 minutes ago! I couldn't believe that I missed it! It looks like only 3 U2 concerts this year for me :(. I am going to Green Day on October 8th so that should be fun. Well, not much else other than I LOVE U2!!!

i had a fun time at bowling tonight. adam and i were cracking up at an old man's hat. it appeared to have a blush brush as part of the decor. it was hilarious. i bowled decent two of the games, but sucked ass the other game. after bowling i went to barry's for awhile. we were watching the surreal life on vh1 with mini me and it was histarical.
tomorrow i have to pick paul and greg up from the airport. we are supposed to go to 2nd street until dinner time and then go to dinner at Greenfield Brazilian BBQ. i hope we end up going because that place is delicious.

my birthday weekend
happy birthday to me. heidi and i went to santa barbara yesterday and went to the bars last night. we had a lot of fun. this morning/afternoon we got up and went to solvang. we spent the day there. we were supposed to go to dinner at my favorite restaurant...AJ Spurs but it was closed for the damn superbowl! we were so bummed! it was the reason we went to solvang in the first place! we headed home and had a nice drive. we stopped in la conchita and walked around (where they had the land slide). it was really sad and eerie. it was incredible to look at the damage that was done and how these peoples lives have changed so much in an instant. we left there and drove home. when we got here she took me to dinner at northwoods. it was really good. well, my birthday is almost over and i'm just laying in bed watching desperate housewives. adios.
ps-i have U2 tickets for april 1 and april 6! i can't wait! also, it looks like i'm pretty damn close to owning a U2 iPod!
