So it's a big thing here in Australia that Sam Newman has prostate cancer and it reminded me of a story I read where Justin has it but I can't find it.

I am looking for a fic where Brian fakes his death and leaves the pitts to move to California? He starts teaching at a local college, and some time later Justin moves there as well and begins teachin at the same college. Justing knows right off it is Brian, but he is going by a different name, and has begun seeing someone.
I'm trying to remember this fic. I think Brian had a secret loft above the one he lets people know about and is finishing it by himself. There is a secret stairway, I think. Not much to go on, I know.
okay, well i've been seriously wracking my brain for the past few days looking for this fic and, well, i've decided to accept defeat and admit that i need help...:[ here's what i remember:
I know it was asked for here before and i also know it was on midnightwhispers.net. brian and justin are both kidnapped (but seperately) and put in this room in an abandoned warehouse, where they're given no clothes/condoms and basically they realize they have to f*ck raw. but instead of doing so, for the first few months or so, they fake it. I know at some point the people holding them hostage gave justin drugs and he had an allergic reaction to them. I also know that Cynthia and Ted are the only ones from Brian's friends who are looking for Brian, Justin's parents and sister died in a car accident or something and his old nanny? is the one who teams up with cin and ted to look for them.
Of course, b/j eventually make it out alive, fall in love, etc. :]

The only thing I remember was the last chapter that I read. Brian and Justin are together but I think Justin is in NY. Brian had just bought Bablyon for a good price (something about Sap being in trouble). Ted is cleaning Sap's old office out and finds a bunch of video taps. He asks Brian what to do with them and Brian tells him to get rid of them. So Ted starts going through the tapes just to make sure nothing of importance on them and realize they are tapes of old "Sap parties". And the thing I remember is the chapter ending with Ted (and Emmett I think) noticing that Justin is on one of the party tapes. Any help with finding this fic will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

i literally just read this story and i'm drawing a blank!! justin is like ultra successful and he and brian had a bad break up soon after they met and then Justin pays like 20 grand to go out with brian for an auction...they have to go out on 7 dates...Brian starts to fall for justin yet again and justin does the same but the point of paying the 20 grand was so that justin could more or less dump brian and make him feel the way brian made him feel years back...does any of this make sense???? :o)

Everyone was so kind and quick at responding to my last post, I wonder if anyone can help me with another story?
The only thing I can remember about it is that Brian is the junior partner at the advertising company (I think the Marty Ryder is still the boss) and Marty dies suddenly. It turns out that the company is in dire financial straits and Brian thinks that it is going into receivership. He is going through hoops to try and save his employees' jobs, but holds out little hope.
Instead, all the staff rally round, with senior execs taking base salaries and others working for very little - because they hold Brian in such affection and trust that they are willing to risk everything to help him get it back on its feet!
I think that is towards the end of the story, and Justin is being very supportive of Brian in every way.
