Hi. I'm looking for a fic where Brian and Michael are *together* in the beginning. They are also plotting to kill Justin to get him out of Brian's (and their) life. Michael gets Justin alone and was about to carry out the plan when the fic takes a turn with a surprise twist.

I feel like I've been posting questions every day...Which I have. Sorry for that. But I just remembered these vague snippets of a fic I read a while back and thought to ask here.
Brian and Justin were broken up and Justin starts dating this older guy. He's a surgeon. Remember back in s1 and Brian kept calling David 'doctor' and people kept correcting him that he's a 'chiropractor'? Well, this older man Justin's dating is a surgeon and Brian keeps calling him a doctor and others keep correcting him that he's a surgeon. The guys usually do it in a teasing manner. Brian's clearly jealous. I remember that the surgeon isn't too comfortable with PDA, especially around straight folk. He was also jealous of Brian's connection to Justin. At one point, after a weak, barely-there peck on the lips between Justin and surgeon-man, Brian mocked it, pulled Justin to him and gave him a really long, deep kiss. Justin pushed him away and cursed at him but Brian just smirked at the surgeon and said something like "that's how the big boys do it".
The surgeon then got a promotion but it's at a different hospital in a different city. He asks Justin to come with him but Justin ends up not going. This is how they break up. I'm assuming Brian and Justin got back together after that.
I read it quite a while back so I don't remember much about it.

i'm looking for a fic in wich brian and justin have broken up and justin doesn't live in the pitts anymore. Justin is now married with brandon. When brandon dies justin is devastated and goes to italy where brian finds him. they get back together in the end.

Has there ever been a fic written with this plot? I've read fics where Justin leaves Pittsburgh without telling anyone, but I don't remember one where he actually fakes his death so no one will look for him. I know Moonshadow Woman wrote a fic where Michael helped Justin leave, but they didn't fake his death.
ETA: There are a few fics rec'd in the comments, but nothing that matches what I'm looking for. Still hoping though.

Hi, I've looked through the tags and read some, but can anyone suggest fics where maybe Brian and Justin don't end up together (initially) but move on and find other loves and happiness and remain friends, maybe even get back together in the end.. Absolutley no anti/Justin or anti/Brian fic. I've read The Other Foot by Simon(what Justin was that?, and it sickened me a little, LOL), and tried to read Better Friends and Lovers by Arwensong (Justin an unrecognizable asshole and too much other stuff going on). The Other Foot almost prompted me to write a counter fanfic of my own because I was so disturbed, but I read One Foot In Front of The Other by Mouse which was counter to The Other Foot so I felt better. Loved Swamp Fever and Burn (but it took me a while to get over the potrayal of Justin but he came out fine in the end) so those were great.
So, yeah, to wrap this up, I don't mind Brian/other, Justin/other without either of them ending up being unrecognizable assholes because of it. And they can end up together, but they don't have to. Anyone?
