And if you haven't read it yet, you HAVE to read The God Eaters by Jesse Hajicek. AWESOME original slash fic I stumbled upon here. It's a tad long, and you might struggle a bit to get through the first few chapters (they're a bit confusing and all over the place, but it gets better), but it's really and truly brilliant and honestly worth it.

Stolen Summary: Imprisoned for 'inflammatory writings' by the totalitarian Theocracy, shy intellectual Ashleigh Trine figures his story's over. In other, less Oofuri-related news, my Gau cosplay is coming along pretty well. I have my wig, my sweatervest, my pants, my shirt. All I'm missing is the bracelet, the messenger bag, the binder, the shoes.... Okay, yeah, that's still a lot  XDXDXD I look so weird in my wig though...

School has been really tiring lately. I've had homework every single night, even on the first day of school, and with my brother's soccer practices and stuff, I've been getting home later than usual. I usually end up starting my homework around 9.... o.O So homework + no time = no computer (and no sleep either) *wibble*
So, sorry to all the people I've been unintentionally ignoring lately.... :(

A thousand years ago, the monster Enka was defeated. In his dying moments, he layed down a curse stating that one of his "children" would destroy the world in his place.

An operative of the Paranormal Phenomena Bureau of Measures, Ouka Midarezaki had no idea what he was signing up for when he got assigned to play the father in "Operation: Cozy Family".

Forced to marry a psychotic 20-year-old catgirl who claims to be a goddess (Kyouka), and to adopt a talking lion (Teika), a biological weapon (Hyouka), the gay son of a yakuza boss with Gender Identity issues (Ginka), the adorable but abused daughter of the dangerous Himemiya family (Yuuka), and a mysterious thousand year old jellyfish(Gekka), the goal of his mission is to stop these "Children of Enka" from potentially destroying the world, by simply making them not want to.

But as time goes on, they become closer, and become a real family

Despite being an anime that's crazy, crack-filled, and all over the place, it'll appeal to fans of all types. It has great action sequences, as well as having some angst and romance here and there (and some fanservice too, of course,) that ultimately ends with a fluffy theme of being a family.
