general_public: Hi. I'm Katie. This is a fanfiction journal. At the moment my biggest obsession is Star Trek XI, although there are many fandoms I may write for, and many pairings. I write slash, het, femmeslash, and gen, and my stories tend to be one-shots and short fic. I don't use a beta (mainly because I can't find one/it takes far too long) so please don't be shy about pointing out any typos if you stumble across them. More indepth constructive criticism is welcome but I'd rather it was sent in a private message as opposed to being left in a public review. I'm also happy to discuss any aspect of my stories and my writing, again via private message. If you would like to friend this journal to keep updated, please do, though it doesn't friend back and no fic will ever be locked.
My Warnings Policy: I will warn for: Character death, rape/non-con/dub-con, incest, torture, violence, chlid abuse, and heavy angst. If I have missed anything major off the list, it's either because I can't remember everything off the top of my head, or I don't agree with warning for it, or because it's something I would never write anyway. Until now I haven't made a point of warning for much as often I feel that my summary, rating, and pairing information is usually enough to let the story speak for itself when it comes to what type of fic you are about to read. While I have no issue in attempting to warn for at least some of the "big things", I won't even begin to attempt to warn for every possible thing that could be a potential trigger. While I have no problem with writers who want to shoulder the responsibility of helping to make fandom a "safe space", I believe readers must also accept some responsibility for themselves - namely, not to expect the impossible from an author.

PG - parental guidance suggested
PG-13 - parents strongly cautioned
R - restricted
NC-17 - no children under seventeen
