Geeks in the Pink

Not too many tonight, only Twilight and Bones today. Bones is my newest obsession and I really can't get enough of it. I watched the entire series over the past month and I am just truly in love with it. Watch it if you're not!

These icons aren't really anything special, to be completely honest. I just played around a lot with color. But I'm fairly happy with them. *shrug* I had fun while cropping the Twilight trailer. Such fantastic caps to work with.

Just Twilight and Gossip Girl today. I haven't really been inspired to make icons from other fandoms. Except for Gossip Girl, I've pretty much lost interest in just about all my shows now that Twilight has pretty much taken over my life.

Anyway, I made quite a few icons from pictures of Rob and Kristen at the MTV Movie Awards because they just begged to be iconed, but the rest are from the teaser trailer and the pictures from the LA Times website.

Happy birthday to a fabulous icon-maker, listener, and most importantly, friend! I hope you have an amazing day!!

I’m so proud of myself for updating so quickly! I’ve had a lot of free time recently, and when I don’t have free time, I usually have a good reason to procrastinate. Hence, icons. To be perfectly honest, I’m not in love with this batch (except maybe the Christmas ones, but those are simple); I think my last was better. But I still like them, and I hope you guys do as well! So, it's been more than a little while, to say the least. It's been almost exactly a year since my last post. After my last post, I lost PSP for a while, then finally got PS a while after that. It took some time to get used to and I never made enough icons for a post. Then I got my laptop and only just recently got PS again. But since then, I've kind of gone crazy making icons. My style has definitely changed since my last post, I think for the better, but who knows. I kind of feel like my icons look good on my laptop, but not good anywhere else, so let me know if you guys like them, please.

I think I'm going to be able to post a lot more often because I've finally been inspired again. I think it's because television has been so good recently.

And it’s actually a little bit of a coincidence that I have such an even number, oddly enough.

These are basically sorted by episode because I didn’t feel like sorting them by character/ship/scene because I’m lazy like that. Hopefully it’s organized enough anyway.

You’ll notice that almost none of these have text. I don’t like putting text on icons because I think I usually make them look worse. That said, these aren’t bases, so please don’t edit them.

• I know I haven't posted in a really, really long time, and I apologize. For once, I don't have a massive 100+ icon post for you, instead, I have a few icons from my biggest fandom right now, American Idol.
• Thanks to everyone who commented on my previous post, I never expected to get 50 comments, let alone 350+! It really felt great! I'm definitely not expecting anywhere near that amount on this post, but I'm happy with how most of these came out. I tried my hardest to have them posted by the start of the semi-finals.
• I hope you enjoy them, and to those who are watching the community that aren't fans of the show, I hope to have a batch of icons from the following fandoms in the near future (hopefully not 6 months!): Dancing With The Stars, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, SNL, The OC, The Office, and Veronica Mars.

Let me start out with an apology. I haven't posted since September. I suck. But I do have a reason. Sometime in October, my computer crashed and I pretty much lost everything, including my downloaded version of PSP. It took me until December to get a new graphics program. One of my lj friends sent me Photoshop 7.0. I was so happy to have it, but it took me forever to get the hang of the program. I wasn't happy with any icons until about a month ago. After that, I started making icons more regularly. And when school let out for the year last Wednesday, I went kind of icon crazy. I'm still in the learning process of PS, but I think I'm liking my results. Anyway, these icons are totally different from my old style and I hope you guys like them!
