2025 and Harry & the Pirate

It's been a year, hasn't it? I've had to resort to comfort fic, both reading and writing, and am back to composing various gap-fillers for my Harry & the Pirate series. It was jossed long ago, but is still exactly what I wanted to read (and, as a result, write) back in 2003, and I'm pretty much back in the same boat now. Hopefully we'll all weather this lengthy and extremely distressing storm, and in the meantime, yay for Pirate!fic!

I actually went through and revised and edited the whole series and posted it to AO3 here. Then I added a number of those gap-fillers, including but not limited to Forty-three Hours, and Honey vs. Vinegar (both of which I posted here on Livejournal), and my latest, which is 12 chapters long, Harry & the Pirate: Honeymoon, which takes place between Swann's Revenge and Norrington's Choice. And there will be at least a couple more gap-fillers written in the near future.

I hope all of my LJ friends are doing well. It's been great fun going back through my journal posts and reading all the great comments. We did have fun here, back in the day.

sunshine304 just posted, and I've noticed a few others doing so lately. How I miss the LJ of the old days. tumblr just doesn't do it for me, though there are lots of lovely Sherlock fans there, of course (that's the only thing I look for on that site, and the occasional Sherlock fanfic is the only thing I post). Anyway, I'm still around, though usually crazy busy, what with work, grandkids, reading, writing, etc.

Fic: 'Honorable Intentions' - Ch. 1: In an English Country Garden (sh/mh - G)

So this was (and is -- just got through posting the 12th part of it on AO3) a series of ficlets designed to work out my Sherlock/Molly head canon. It borrows a few ideas from other folks' work, as usual, but the writing is all mine.

This is 1450 words, features Sherlock, Molly, and Sherlock's father, and was written for the 'Outsides' prompt.
