In our desire to improve the lives of new immigrants, as well as the established immigrants who migrated several generations ago…. to help them sustain their ethnic culture and values, we cannot do this alone. As a not-for-profit organization, we depend on the generosity of our donors and the passion of our volunteers to help us support this journey to a better community sense of belonging!

How you can get involved
Join the Board
We are always looking for experienced members to join our Board or Committee to take our activities to the next level. If you are interested in joining our team as a Board member or a Committee member please send us an email to info@gdmf.ca.
Volunteer with us
The Guelph and District Multicultural Festival is a volunteer-driven organization. Each year, over 170 like-minded people work together dedicating 7,000 hours of their time, helping out in the office, on the Board, and at our special events. Without the passion & dedication of our volunteers, we would have no Festival. Our volunteers come from every walk of life and are aged between 12 & 80! If you are looking for an opportunity to celebrate culture with a dynamic group of individuals come to join us. We are always looking for new volunteers. Become a Sponsor
Our Festival continuously relies on the generosity and kindness of the community, funding agencies and local businesses such as yours. When you become a sponsor of the Festival, your company becomes associated with one of the best-attended Festivals in Ontario. But that’s not all, every year a percentage of our earnings goes back into the community by way of honorariums or donations.
