I figured it was time to organize myself on LJ. Here is a complete list of my fictions to date by fandom. I am slowly updating my links so bare with me.

Irony. I has it. OR 7.7 Earthquake strikes off B.C coast, Canada

Seriously, four days before I am set to move back home to British Columbia from Ontario and this happens. The irony is not lost on me. - Luckily the earthquake was in shallow water, remote, and partially under an island so that stopped mass casualties and badness from both the earthquake and tsunami. Seems like the whole west coast is under alert at the moment, but they are already talking about how lucky it is that the earthquake was in shallow water and under an island.

It seems to be a developing thing right now, so no one knows how bad the tsunami is going to get. Ick. Apparently the waves have reached/or are in progress of reaching Hawaii in the coming hour or so. Their tsunami warning sirens are apparently going off like a mofo. I have no idea what time it is over there but they are probably not getting any sleep, just like everyone in the West coast of Canada at the moment. My FB is like a living, breathing entity right now with everyone I know in BC buzzing with it. Some felt it, some didn't, some are more concerned about the waves since they live in Vancouver and Vancouver Island. It is going to be an interesting few hours over there, that's for sure.

(For the interested, it hit off the Queen Charlotte Islands, depth of only 10.9 miles. Reports of damage coming in, so far minor and property related. But there is a Tsunami warning. )
