my favorite thing is the implication that

1) james tiberius kirk has an extremely high tolerance to the recreational drugs of this planet, to the point that he acted 100% normal the whole time he was there and wasn't even a little bit blazed

2) jim's idea of cool vacation time was to play board games and listen to spock talking, which is totally tos canon since the rec room in his enterprise isn't a bar or a cafeteria but a place with board games and room for spock to play music
