The Friday Five

1. What if any instrument do you play?
I've been playing the trumpet for nearly ten years now.
2. If you could choose to play an instrument what would it be?
The saxaphone. Robby is supposed to teach me sometime! Hurry up on that baby!!!
3. If you were in a band, what would your band’s name be?
I am in a band. A ska band(I play lead trumpet), and we're called "Where's Dean?"
4. What type of music would your band play?
Ska(As I said above).
5. Would you continue to be good for years to come, or would you and your band end up in Branson playing for bus loads of elderly?
We'll always kick ass!! lol

Prom

So my third prom(Which wasn't actually my prom, since I'm not in high school, so it's Robby's prom, but anyways LOL) ended up being the one I had the most fun at I must say(Despite a few things).
First, I had to go to work from 9am-2pm, so I made some money :-D, and on my ten minute break I was able to make an appointment to get my hair cut and styled for the dance.
So I got off work at 2pm, and walked around till 2:30pm, cause that's when my appointment was. The guy who did my hair(Who's name was Zane Grey Sky ****, probably shouldn't give out his last name, but I was amused with his first and middle. hehe) was pretty bad, I mean, first off, he spent 30 minutes straightening my hair BEFORE cutting it. Now, for those who know me, my hair is STRAIGHTER than straight, so he basically wasted my time, then it took him two hours to do my hair, and he had NO idea what he was doing, so his co-worker had to fix it. So that kind of sucked, but after the girl fixed it, it looked ok. I got out of the appointment around 4:50, then hauled ass home.
We were supposed to meet at Robby's house at 5:30pm, but I didn't even get HOME until 5pm, so I was really rushed and tired from work, but I didn't have a chance to rest. So I got dressed, did my makeup in like 15 minutes, then made it over to Robby's house pretty much on time.
We took LOTS of pictures, drank cider and sat around waiting for Chris and Jason(Who were like a half hour late haha), then took MORE pictures(Cause we had to have group pictures that included them, LOL), then around 6pm we headed to dinner.
Dinner was at "The Well Experience" which is this little restaurant that is run by ex convicts. haha. It was actually a really nice dinner, and a pretty fancy place, and the food was good :-D
Left the restaurant at 8pm, and went to safeway so Paul and Jessica could buy energy drinks. We were then invited to a kegger(Which we laughed at the rest of the night, cause none of us are people who really go to keggers) and then at 8:30pm we finally went to the dance.
Robby and I, Mary and Steve, and Kevin and Rose, decided to get our pictures out of the way as soon as we got there. BIG MISTAKE!
We stood in line for an HOUR AND A HALF to get our pictures taken, and by the time we were done it was 10pm and HALF the dance was over. So we were pretty pissed about missing half the dance.
Finally got in to the dance, and we got our grooves on :-D It was awsome.
Which brings me to PICTURES!!!!

Dancing was awsome. Especially the slow ones where Robby and I could just hold each other.
I'll never grow tired of having his arms around me*le sigh*

After the dance, we all went to Robby's house for ice cream and "American Pie" haha, classic movie. The movie was over around 3am, and we talked for like a half hour, till everyone was ready to pass out. So we parted ways and went home.
I got home, took my dress off, and proceeded to wash all the crap out of my hair. Cause I had work in the morning(At 10:30am, blah), so I couldn't go to work with curly hair, my hat wouldn't fit.
Got to sleep around 4am, and woke up at 10am for work.
God, I was so tired at work, but Jessica(My boss) was all understanding and was like "Bring me pictures!" haha, she's so cool.
I got off work at 3pm, came home, sat down for about 10 minutes, then cleaned up before band practice at 5pm.
We're writing a new song called "Sorry I farted: A teenage tale of love" haha, it's gonna be great. LOL

Well, if you read everything and looked at all the pictures, I commend you, and you get the preverbial cookie :-D

Now, I'm off to bed, as I have school tomorrow from 9-11:20, then work from 12-3pm, so I'm off.

Honestly, I don't remember...I think it was an Eminem CD back in Jr high(but that was nearly 7 years ago).

2. Who is your favorite all time band/singer?
Dave King from Flogging Molly :-D He's an Irish Sex God.

3. What have you been listening to lately?
Within a Mile of Home(Flogging Molly's latest), and also my "Empire Records" soundtrack, whick I got for my birthday last week.

4. What is your favorite radio station, what do they play, and where do they broadcast?
If I had to pick(I don't really listen to the radio, they don't really play the music I listen to often: ie, Irish punk), I would have to say 106.7 cause they play most of the rock that I listen to.

5. Can you recommend a good song or CD that everyone should listen to?
Within a Mile of Home by Flogging Molly, you'll orgasm over and over! LOL

A certain person with the username msvertigo has basically been harassing people in this group I'm a member of and personally I'm tired of it. So I gave her a little piece of my mind on her journal http://www.livejournal.com/users/msvertigo/106459.html?view=311259#t311259 . Go ahead and check it out and give her a piece of your mind too. It's people like her who make people think they're not good people. She's like the people who've made me want to cut. Grr, it just pisses me off SO much.
