re: people!

attn: family/friends!

spring break.
i get kicked out of my dorm for a week.
who wants to host me?

disclaimer: i am SHITTY at committing. and really really BAD at sticking to plans. i need to work on this. i am hoping by getting a 3-month jumpstart on it, attempts at plans might actually work.

my intent is thus:
1. start planning now.
2. finalize destination by january 11. (coincidentally my 21st birthday! XD)
3. purchase necessary tickets/whatnot with financial aid monies.
4. open savings account with estimated budget funds.
5. do not touch savings account. or lose tickets/whatnot.
6. actually see this plan through in march.

my spring break is from march 14-23.
i am up for any number of days, though i would like to spend a little time at home.
who wants to risk it? :D

mindless self indulgence?

i'm not even sure if there's anyone in the knoxvegas area who's on my friends list here and who knows/likes MSI, but if there is:

i have a free ticket to the nashville show and i'd like some company.

hit me up if you're interested.

sigh.

summer always tempts me to quit
and just wander off.

i would like to be hungry,
to be entertaining,
to offer some kind of knowledge.

i would like to keep walking.

sigh.

re: things, items, stuff.

purchased a pair of american eagle jeans at work.
and some necklaces. which match clothes i don't have.

and i got yelled at by my manager
for apparently being the sole contributor
of what was actually a three-person conversation.

[and they wonder why i tried to quit.]

also, i've purchased my second ticket
for a widespread panic concert.
EXCITED.

my dad = cool. he's figured out a way for you lovely people in the states to call me for free. seriously.

anyone with a memphis area code, or with a cell phone that has free long distance can use this number to reach me:

[901] 255-5534

if you do not have free long distance on your cell phone/do not live in the memphis area, you can send me the name of your city + your area code, and my dad can set it up so you can call me for free from your house phone.

important! if you do decide to call me, pleasepleaseplease be aware of the time difference. here's an easy formula to help you figure it out!

eastern time zone: your current time + 6 hours = current germany time.
central time zone: your current time + 7 hours = current germany time.
mountain time zone: your current time + 8 hours = current germany time.
pacific time zone: your current time + 9 hours = current germany time.

during the week, please don't call later than ten pm my time without warning me first with a text. i do not have my own phone in my room, and i don't think my host family would appreciate being woken up by the phone going off. on the weekends, i think til twelve is okay. if you can text me before you call, that's good. i know most of you can't, so it may end up working out best if i call you first, and then you can call me right back. you can always email me to set up times as well.

also, something to note: when you call, it'll sound really weird. the german ringtone thing is super-odd, but don't worry; it's actually ringing!

i know, i know... it's way complicated. =/ sorry. but at least you all can talk to me, and that's what's important, right? hee.
