Holy shit, Jack's sub-plot of this week's 30 Rock was amazing.
Sure, his daydream about sailing the seven seas was hilarious, but what really pushed it over the top and it to AMAZING territory was his showdown with Kaylie. She's a more dangerous enemy than even Devon Banks was, and she's 14. I really hope we get to see more of her. Abby, on the other hand, I could do without.

Several more chapters have been posted of Revelations and Expectations, and it's turned into complete and utter self-indulgent Idfic. Naturally I'm all over that. John is all brave and stoically determined to pull through and everyone (except for one evil nurse) loves him.
Some people get their rocks off by reading about Rodney moving into the sewers and slicing his wrists with lemon slices, I get my kicks reading about how wonderful John is and how much everyone likes and respects him. *g* This has really turned into the ultimate comfort fic. Not even the whump is a detriment, because the fact that he would recover was pretty clearly telegraphed from the start.
So, you know. It's not high art, but if your Id is similar to mine, you'll probably end up enjoying the story despite yourself. ;)
