All of those people you used to run into but never do now; they took off to the mystery zone

got my tickets to new york last night. visiting lailey in april. a week plus on the east coast; very excited. I'll have to exercise a great deal of self control for this to be a "let's visit Lailey" rather than "let's scout out these cities for livability" sort of visit. itchy feet have got to move.

off to ZAPP in a second. that's going well. well enough anyway.
tutoring going well too, though I forgot to fill in my internet time sheet (yay) and now my check will be a week late. something about having to fill something out online at home when there are, in fact, physical time sheets available right there at the job seems like the worst of all possible worlds.
I'm not going to rant though; I'm the one who forgot.
saw my boss at the bar/burrito place where I was catching up with Tara Leigh (hadn't seen in 3 years. Used to go by Leigh. Then Tara. Both are her name). On his way to a play I'd heard of, but couldn't remember much else about. Found out also that Rebecca, who now works as Assistant Programs Developer (?) at Hugo House used to work at the Loft.

Small neighborhood, city, nation, world.

years and decades

reading old internet things I've done, man, a lot happened to me this year. I think I'm just beginning (a week and a half into 10) to even be able to think of '09 as a workable clump of time. March and October had so little to do with eachother.

roll on 2010, like it needs my permission.

coming up the stairs this morning to "Please Mom, no! I donwanna learn science!"
I started to say something big brotherly and--
"No. You can help me, do not help her."

Now with more internet presence.

You'll be seeing me soon enough anyway, but in case you're wondering what I've been up to, here are a couple videos from my last Crunch. They're a bit dark, but the room was a bit dark.

here's one about Swansea.

the whole night is pretty much up there, but you'll have to click on the username, since the videos are new enough they don't necessarily show up in "related videos." Or if you type in Graham Crunch it should work.

when the cash cow's actually beef.

I realised I haven't posted here in two weeks.

Lessee: I'm 28 now. Feel simultaneously about 19 and 53. General posts about events, plans or mental states are irrelevant nearly as soon as I put them up here; life is moving at an alarming clip.

We were run out on a rail. . .

So I finished reading Infinite Jest, which is very long, very funny, very sad and very good, in my opinion. Notable was its use of made-up slang. So like, if someone was to "de-map" themselves they offed themeself. If someone was feeling "a bit punk" they were, you know, low-ish.

today I'm feeling a bit punk. sometimes I find the cure for feeling a bit punk is, conversely, feeling a bit punk.

wish I couldn't ever, like, relate to that song.
