World Tour 2007, Episode 1: Frankfurt, Freshfields, 25th-27th February 2007

We spent the last couple of days in Frankfurt at the Advocacy School of the FMAA (Frankfurt Moot Alumni Association) and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Peggy from the London office of Freshfields coached us in... well... breathing, speaking, posture, the importance of rehearsals, etc.. Also, we competed against the universities of Freiburg and Cologne in practice pleadings and got very good feedback from the lawyers of Freshfields, the guys of the FMAA and Peggy. Other than that: Apfelwein (cider) is still gross, our hotel Elbe is still very charming and we're well prepared for the premoot in Düsseldorf at the end of the week.

...I'm not sure why but somehow i don't feel like participating anymore :(
BUT, on wednesday we have a meeting with our prof and we'll discuss flying to hongkong in addition to flying to vienna, that would mean:
19-25 March HongKong
30 March - 5 April Vienna
However, i believe that we won't fly to hongkong since there are just a whole lot of problems surrounding flying to asia.
- apparently you're only allowed to argue at one moot court, which would mean 3 of us can argue in hongkong and 3 in vienna. that'd mean a looot of stress. Plus we'd have to write two memoranda for the claimant and two for the respondant. o_O

well, surprisingly enough I finished the conference folders and my presentation early so I had a couple of minutes to create a Lion King 1 1/2 icon - more will probably follow once I'm back from Frankfurt and Aachen.

hey, anscheinend ist osnabrueck voll die Nobelgegend :) Bei einem Ranking nach dem verfügbaren Einkommen pro Haushalt schlägt Osnabrueck sogar noch Muenchen und landet auf Platz 3!!
Lippe landet im Gesamtranking der Immobiliensuche leider nur auf Platz 250 von 427...
