So I havn't been around too much lately, at least to use lj. Been here, there, and everywhere, and working my ass off. But I thought I'd give a quick heads up...I think I'm going to start a new journal, just to make a fresh start...I feel like I've been using this journal for a long time, and I need something fresh. I'll post when I set up the new one so that people can add it if they want.

Moving ugh
So we're moved in, but we have no phone or internet till 9/14, so the boy and I will be back soon. I can check stuff from school, but have limited time, so if I've missed something that's why :) Hope everyone's well :)
your cute pussy pic of the day
must be seen to be believed
The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out, the worms play pinochle on your snout
Microbiology final tomorrow (parasitic infections only).
Summertime Colds SUCK
I hate being sick when its 80 degrees and humid out. it totally takes the misery to the next level.

Coffee may counteract alcohol’s poisonous effects on the liver and help prevent cirrhosis, researchers say.

Gah! I hate traveling alone
But I'm wicked psyched to be going to Julia and Mat's wedding :)
But ya. Any reccommendations for things to do in Syracuse? I'm not sure about transportation....I know how I'm getting down to Julia's neck of the woods, but not sure about how I'm getting back to Syracuse before 10am on Memorial Day to catch my bus back to maine
Also, on Memorial day I have a 2.25 hour layover in Boston. Any reccomendations? Anyone in the area willing to hang out and get me back in time to catch the bus?
Let me know! i leave tomorrow, but will hopefully have access to emaily stuff while gone. And my layover in boston is from 5:30-7:45 assuming the bus is on time.
Also, ten hours on the bus without music is going to suck. I wish I could find my cd player. or hell, even a tapeplayer and a pair of headphones that work.

woooot!!
I found out today that I got a B in lecture and a B+ in lab for Parasitology. But even better than that, I SPANKED the lab final, with a 97! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
In other "amanda is ambitious" news, I applied for a work study position at the USM Library today, went to the gym for 30 mins of cardio, survived my first summer class (8:15 am is inhumon for microbio) without falling asleep, went to the bank, and bought my micro text and lab manual (ugh...137 down the drain for those).
Now must sleep! Or, considering I'm all hyped from the gym, I'll probably make myself 'eggies in a basket' (V for Vendetta has seriously changed my life, right down to eating habits), and then clean/do dishes/work on my D&D scenario for the convention so that I can play test it this coming weekend if all goes well.
