If some how you haven't heard, Matt Sharp is creating The Rentals once again. The Rentals are currently writing and recording a 3rd album.  Go say hello on the Message Board and join all the cool kids.  And The Rentals have new Merch including a Frisbee and on www.TheRentals.com they have posted the Rentals song "Frisbee Days" to download!
Finally, The Rentals have a LiveJournal community set up, so check that out as well. Have a great 2006 everyone.

This is the best news I've heard in a while. I saw the website a few days ago when nothing was there but I had a pleasant surprise this morning when I tried to go over to MattSharp.net and was promptly redirected there.

I wonder what the new line-up will look like and when they will start playing some shows....
