Still Kickin'
Hey everyone! I've been super MIA lately but I miss you all! I need my femslash fix! Therefore, I dedicate tomorrow as my Femslash Friday...fic writing and reading, all about the ladies! I'm going to cozy up in the campus Women's Center with my laptop and a giant Starbucks and give myself a much-needed rest.
It's been crazy here on campus...not only am I president of the Feminist Club, I'm a member of the LGBT club, Campus Democrats, and English Club, I'm going to be tutoring at the writing center starting mid-September, I have job training for my new call center job on Sunday, I'm taking 18 credits, and of course I want to hang out with my two best friends who I missed so freakin' much all summer. I'm one of the only women in my major, so I spend so much of my day with these dude-bros jerking off over Hemingway and Palahniuk, and I love my ladies so much...too bad I'm best friends with a math major and an art major!
One of my best friends from my major who graduated last year just visited for four days and we spent the long weekend chatting, writing, and watching horror movies. She left yesterday and I'm feeling a little blue about it...but whenever I need a pick-me-up or just some "me time," I go online and see what my femslashy ladies are up to.
Here's a quick shout out to the people who kept me going all summer with their friendship and awesome writing: salmon_pink, femme_slash_fan, 4kennedy, consumedly, and lanalucy, as well as the mods of my two favorite LJ communities--ariestess and olivia_j.
It's always nice having you guys there, somewhere, countries away but still somehow by my side. <3
