Hey. If none of you knew, Latin Club is selling tickets for a Halo 2 tournament. It's on March 25th from 6-9 in the Freshman Cafeteria. The games being played are Free-For-All Slayer and Team Capture the Flag. For just one game it's $5 and for both it's $8. So come see a Latin Club member (hopefully me) and sign up. We're not sure what the prizes are going to be quite yet, but you can come and have fun and hang out with some other Halo addicts.

BEST DAY EVER!!!

Black outs are fun.

Announcements for Nov. 1-7:

Congratulations on great seasons to the Volleyball teams and the Tennis team. Both finished their seasons on Saturday, but not without giving it their all. The Volleyball team lost to Hereford in 5 games, going down to the final point, losing 16-14. Awesome effort, Volleyball! The Tennis team made it to the regional semi-finals before losing to perennial power Wichita Falls Rider. We are so proud of all you!!!

The Cross Country girls teams won District Saturday morning and the boys team finished 2nd behind Big Spring by only 2 points. Matt S. won the boys district meet. Way to go, Matt!

The Tiger Football team defeated Big Spring on Friday night to make them 4 - 0 in district play and at least a share of the 4-4A title. The Tigers travel to San Angelo Thursday night to play Lakeview. A victory will give them the outright District Championship. Students who travel to San Angelo will need to sign in at the game to show that they are in attendance at the game.

Congratulations to our Robotics team that finished 1st overall at the BEST competition on Saturday at Estacado. They will now advance to state at SMU on November 11-13.

This is the last week of the 2nd six weeks grading period.

Tuesday is election day. All registered voters are encouraged to get out and vote! Students who registered to vote will be voting Tuesday in our mock election during lunch time.

AIG will be here on Tuesday and Wednesday in the South Teachers Lounge to discuss 457 annuity plans with our staff who wish to visit with them.

Can you believe it?! We worked our asses off for six weeks, and we swept the board.

Here's a breakdown of the past four years for our robotics competition:

Freshmen (2001-02)- Nada
Sophmore (2002-03)- Most Robust Award
