 Kolomyia is a magical corner of the natural Carpathian landscape. It is also an important spiritual, cultural, artistic and economic center of the region with a rich and glorious history, which attracts scholars and artists from all over Ukraine and abroad. Tourists from all over the world hurry to see unique collections in museums, visit mountain ski resorts and numerous vacation spots. Kolomyia is located in the southeastern part of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, halfway between Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi, just between mountain ski resorts. Due to its favorable location, the city received from tourists very aptly title of "Gateway to the Carpathians".

It is a place which  ideally combines excellent facilities for sport and fun hanging out with the peace and quiet.Those who have ever visited mountains of Bukovel, in this corner of the fabulous snow in the winter, which wandered through the first spring thawed, who breathed with this crystal clear air, return Bukovel again and again. Recreation in Bukovel is great at any season, but first of all, Bukovel is the ski resort, so the best time to come to Bukovel is winter. hola, I'm nanna and I live in Montana and get to shred the Big Sky and Bridger slopes!

I recently got a pair of the K2 missdemeanors and I put some schweeet Rosignal Axial bindings on.

I just got hooked on free style skiing and enjoy the terrain park a lot. I tried my first 180 towards the end of the season and I've pretty much mastered beginner tricks.

An unprecedented seven U.S. Ski and Snowboarding athletes have been nominated for the 14th Annual ESPY Awards highlighting sports top moments and performances in the past year.

Those nominated include Olympic snowboarders Hannah Teter (Belmont, VT), Shaun White (Carlsbad, CA) and Gretchen Bleiler (Aspen, CO), Olympic skiers Julia Mancuso (Olympic Valley, CA) and Ted Ligety (Park City, UT), plus Paralympians Steve Cook (Salt Lake City, UT) and Laurie Stephens (Wenham, MA).

All award winners are determined by popular vote, so vote now for your favorite U.S. skiers and snowboarders by logging on to www.espys.tv or http://espn.go.com/espy2006.. Voting closes at midnight July 8.

My name is Laurie, and I work for a new company called Instant Media (www.im.com). We offer a free program that combines an all-in-one media player, RSS feed viewer, and media download client. I thought that some of you might be interested in one of the channels we have to offer.

We have a partnership with TGR (Teton Gravity Research) where we provide seven of their full-length movies (including their latest, The Tangerine Dream) to our users for free. Most of them are freeskiing and snowboarding. They're DVD-quality, DRMed video and normally each movie would cost $13-27. And of course, if you love the movie, you can support TGR and buy the DVD!

In addition to the TGR movies, we offer a couple of extreme-sport-related podcasts (as well as about 300 other podcasts and two HD channels). We're also hoping to close deals with a few mainstream media companies in the near future.

I hope some of you give it a try. You can download I'M at www.im.com.The program is spy-ware and ad-ware free and instructions are on the support section of the website if you decide to uninstall but run into trouble (closing the program fully is a little tricky). Sadly, it doesn't work on Macs.
