*deep breath in*
This week has done everything but kill me. Between 2 tests, 4 essays, and 2 art projects mixed in with actual time spent in class and a full schedule at work...Im dead. Im looking forward to a day of relaxation, and hope to spend a good majority of the time in bed. Im so fed up with the Philosophy of Art class I am taking. I just disagree with every other comment coming out of the professors mouth. Who are you to tell me what good art is, your favorite work of art is not the best in the world and I am not uneducated for disagreeing with you. Saved my mom from the killer demon spider she managed to catch with a cup in the kitchen sink....she was flipping out, it was quite entertaining. Last night it only took me until 6 to finish my essay...hooray for 4 hours of sleep. please stop the government from passing a law that will stop anyone from recording off the television... including tivo, replaytv, vcr, and dvd-recorder...head over to www.savebetamax,com to find out more. Yea... Circuit City gets a well diserved remodel, I only hope they don't make it any worse than it is now...that would be quite difficult. The new firefox browser by mozilla is really nice, service pack 2 sucks...gotta get em both. get the new firefox at www.thescreensavers.com/firefox Im always a fan of free alternatives to Microsoft that are obviously a greater product. As part of my classes I met Terry Izumi, a 3d animator, artist, sculptur, graphic designer, director, and martial art teacher. The man is awesome....if you've never heard of him...you could check out small films like Jurrassic Park, Star Wars, Shrek, or head to Disney Land and see his design in the theme park rides and motels. Genious and such a humble man. very interesting to talk to. He just released an independent film, completely cgi, blockbuster should have it...its called Aero-Troopers. I'll leave you all with that update....here's a writing
There is an art in mastering
The execution of a sober appearance
When youre drunk on the beauty of a burning sky
and a setting sun.
A persistent reminder that tomorrow is. another day.
And as unhappy and upset as you can pretend to be
As many wars rage on in your corridor mind
As many buildings crumble
As the city you grew to love is reduced to a rotting gun shot wound
She can still smile every night
The sweet kiss goodnight
That cradles and passes us to sleep
Or calls the nocturnal for another shadow fest.
Its in my state of ecstasy that my heart stops beating for myself
And attacks the wall between
My mind
Wanders through the labyrinth of philosophy and which opposites attract
and I can make all the coffee cups and neon open signs into angels
that keep me company and teach me to love, and to burn, and to believe, and to dream,
and to observe the setting sun
and to possess the things I can never have
