Hello, the internets. I keep meaning to post and just... not doing it. I'm not up to date on my flist or my reading list. I'm not up to date on replying to comments. I'm not really up to date on ANYTHING in my life.
Here is the truth: as much as I love vacations, I am really quite terrible at them, because I spend the entire time in a helpless mildly-hysterical haze of "dear god, I finally have free time and I'm wasting it because I'm a horrible person." If that sounds like an exaggeration, you clearly do not live in my head, because it is actually a toned-down version of my constant internal exchanges. I have gotten a fair amount done this week, but in my head I have just been awful.
(The literally hundreds of unread Firefox tabs do not help. I keep telling myself to close them all and start fresh, but that's working about as well as you would expect.)
But on the plus side, my recipient liked my Yuletide fic! And I received not one, but TWO awesome Yuletide stories: Oscar Season Worst Season, which is Don't Trust the B fic from JVDB's POV and is delightful (IT TALKS ABOUT HIS CRY FACE YOU GUYS), and Survival, which is Lumatere fic that I will not describe because it has SPOILERS FOR QUINTANA SERIOUSLY DON'T READ IT IF YOU HAVEN'T READ QUINTANA YET IT COMES OUT IN THE US IN MARCH. They both made me super happy.
(There's a lot of other awesome fic too. See above, re: unread Firefox tabs.)
Also I started posting to my Tumblr, which was today's big goal (alongside organizing my collaging supplies, which I mostly did before I ran out of boxes, which... is a thing that happens when you're me). I posted the first cardstock self-portrait I've made that isn't ridiculously emo! I also posted some of the holiday cards I've never sent! I will be posting more! Probably. If nothing else, I have a NYE card ready to post tomorrow. I'm trying to do that thing where I don't just hide all the creative stuff I do and refuse to share it with anyone. It's kind of a work in progress.
Tomorrow I am going to try to follow people back! But first someone is probably going to have to teach me how to do that. I am convinced that if I just play around and try to figure it out myself, I'll end up friending Hitler or something. Basically I've technologically regressed to the point of being my mom.
...IDK, internets. My meds-taking this week has been sporadic at best, so my brain is going too fast for me to make much sense right now. I have a party tomorrow night. I go back to work Wednesday. I have two Avengers fics I'm poking at, half a dozen collages I'm working on, and a really soft pillow that loves me. That's got to be enough for a full post, right?

::GLOMPS::
Yuletide was the bright spot in an utterly meh couple of weeks.

There are not words to explain how important Bloomington was to me this Yuletide. I'm going to put it on ALL MY KINDLES. (I, umm. Have three. For reasons.)
