LAZIO SPAM

So. I'm late, no wonder, but the last month was a hell, with school and tests and a lot of personal issues, and so, I'm doing all the work of the last month now. May you forgive me.

All the match, summarized.

A match pretty much thrown away by Fiorentina. They played undeniably better than Lazio, but wasted a lot of chances in the second half, so Klose ended up being a bitch again by scoring in the last ten minutes. What else? Tifosi are getting rough with Sinisa again, Silva is going to be renamed The Useless One and, uh, LDS was pretty much useless too. However, Monty and Valon are doing a lovely couple in the middle of the field :) speaking of playing, of course.

Fiorentina 1 - 2 Lazio
Marcatori: 8' pt Cerci, 28' pt Hernanes, 38' st Klose.

Fiorentina: Boruc; De Silvestri, Gamberini, Natali, Pasqual; Montolivo, Behrami, Lazzari (36' st Kharja); Cerci, Jovetic, Vargas (10' st Silva).
Lazio: Marchetti; Konko, Stankevicius, Dias, Radu (20' st Sculli); Ledesma, Gonzales, Brocchi (15' st Lulic); Hernanes; Klose, Cissé (31' st Matuzalem).

PARMA SPAM

No words needed.

\OOOO/ they won! And Jojo scored twice, the defenders were amazing, Monty did his best even if the tifosi were against him and generally was a very good match, a bit slow in the first half but amazing in the second one or at least, that's what I've been reading since Wednesday, because my streaming was a bitch and I could see just the end of the second half. Very good to see the boys so focused and determined, even without Gila.
I don't know how long it will last, but now it's good, very good to see them playing this way.

Fiorentina 3 - 0 Parma
Marcatori: 1' st Jovetic, 16' st Cerci, 36' st Jovetic.

Fiorentina: Boruc; De Silvestri, Gamberini (41' st Nastasic), Natali, Pasqual; Behrami, Montolivo, Vargas (25' st Kharja); Cerci (29' st Romulo), Silva, Jovetic.
Parma: Mirante; Zaccardo, Paletta, Lucarelli, Gobbi; Eduardo, Morrone (27' st Blasi), Jadid (37' st Galloppa), Modesto (22' st Crespo); Biabiany; Floccari.

So, on Saturday they're going to play away with Napoli. So, on yesterday they played with Napoli and the piscpam is on its way, I swear. I just hate the midweek turn while I've got homework to do.

UDINESE SPAM

Sinisa: “RAWR!”

So. *Heavy sigh* As I was saying last week with roadtoharmony, as soon as they could, they proved wrong me and my faith in them, because the match against Udinese was crappy.
Truth to be told, Udinese was amazing, really, so there wasn't this much that boys could do, but between this and the way they played there was an abyss. The midfield was a black hole, Monty was the shadow of himself (they keep on saying that's because he's nervous, but he's the one who put up the whole mess with the society, so I don't understand why on Earth he should be nervous about something he did), the play was generally sloooow, JoJo and the other strikers were invisible, Gambit caused Udinese to win a pk very early in the game and Gial decided out of the blue to break his knee in a very potential dangerous way, so.
Welcome back to your old self, Fiorentina.

Udinese 2 - 0 Fiorentina
Marcatori: 8' pt Di Natale (PK), 29' pt Isla.

Fiorentina: Boruc; Cassani, Gamberini, Natali, Pasqual; Behrami, Montolivo (16' st Vargas), Kharja; Cerci (23' st Silva), Gilardino (25' st Munari), Jovetic.
Bologna Handanovic; Benatia, Danilo, Domizi; Basta, Isla, Pinzi, Asamoah (16' st Agyemang-Badu), Pasquale (42' pt Armero); Torje (30' st Abdi); Di Natale.

So, the next match will be a midweek one, tomorrow against Parma. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

ROMA SPAM 2.0

Sorry for the delay, people. *Sighs* My internet was so slow I had to upload a photo at a time, and it has been an hell.

This is one of the things that make me love this boys with all my heart.

Well. Despite of the result – which is unfair, actually – the boys played very well, with a lot of occasions and a bit of back luck. They remembered to me some of the matches of the last season, when they seemed unstoppable and they looked a real team so well-organized they could win the world. And that made me a bit sad, however. But! It was a very great match, I totally loved watching it and enjoyed almost every action. Everyone was happy, Sinisa and Adrian returned to their declarations of love for each other and Gila was too busy with his second daughter to even complaining about anything. Good man, I'm so happy for him. ♥

Fiorentina 2 – 2 Roma [ Highlights]
Marcatori: 21' Mutu (F), 27' Totti (R), 34' Gamberini (F); 7' st Totti (R)

Fiorentina: Boruc; Comotto, Gamberini, Natali, Pasqual; Behrami, Montolivo, Vargas (D'Agostino 83'); Santana (Ljajic 66'); Mutu, Gilardino (Babacar 87').
Roma: Doni; Burdisso, Mexes, Juan, Riise; Pizarro, Perrotta (Brighi 79'), De Rossi (Greco 90'); Taddei (Rosi 54'), Menez; Totti.

Collapse )

Now there will be a week off for the national teams, with Gila, Monty, Adem, Adrian – who has got a fever, poor man –, JMV, Valon and Camporese away with their teams. Hooray, I hope they come back without too many damages.

CHIEVO SPAM 2.0

Good news, the picspam is back \O\ (I have to apologize 'cause I'm not this good at writing in English, I hope this would be understandable.)

(No-one could really believe they actually won.)

That was actually a victory, I mean, a real one. JMV scored, Sinisa was soaked wet but happy, and even Gila forced himself to an almost smile, so. The trip to Verona was good, the boys played well and they were well-organized and focused, once in a lifetime, even if they tried hard to lose the match in the last part of the second half. However, winning and playing almost well are becoming not-so-unusual features of the last matches, so the boys are getting more and more confident and they've started talking again about Europa League and so on – and I'm hoping that it won't bring us bad luck as Sinisa's preseason words did. Cross your fingers.

Chievo 0 – 1 Fiorentina [ Highlights]
Marcatori: 3' st Vargas

Fiorentina: Boruc; De Silvestri (Comotto 92'), Gamberini, Natali, Pasqual; Behrami, Montolivo, Vargas (Marchionni 76'); Santana; Mutu, Gilardino (Babacar 88').
Chievo: Sorrentino; Mantovani, Cesar, Andreolli; Jokic, Pulzetti (Luciano, 56'; Uribe 71'), Sardo, Marcolini, Rigoni; Thereau (Moscardelli 45'), Pellissier.

Collapse )

Next match will be with Roma on Sunday, hoping boys wouldn't fail according to all the good words I've spread on them. Also, as Violachannel proudly reminds us almost every day, Primavera will play on Wednesday against Roma (too) in Coppa Italia final. Yo.

Udine Spam

(Sometime, you have to make marcos macros to keep from crying.)

Well, that was ... depressing and pathetic. Basically everyone sucked and, after the match, Sinisa and Santana were both all "Yep, we were crap. Even when we were winning, they deserved the three points." SIGH.

Most of the time, Fiorentina really looked like a bunch of kids running around -- they periodically tried sort of hard, but without any real focus, or anger, or determination. Udine, on the other hand, played consistently good, creative football -- hard to comprehend that, before the match, they were only a point ahead of La Viola in the table.

UDINESE 2-1 FIORENTINA [highlights|pagelle: Gazzetta, CF|ratings table]
Marcatori: Al 31’ Santana. Nella ripresa, al 18’ Armero, al 36’ Di Natale.

Udinese: Handanovic; Benatia, Coda, Zapata; Isla, Pinzi, Inler, Asamoah (13’st Denis), Armero (45’st Pasquale); Sanchez, Di Natale (37’st Badu). (A disposizione: Belardi, Angella, Floro Flores, Corradi). All. Guidolin.
Fiorentina: Avramov; Comotto, Gamberini, Kroldrup, De Silvestri; D’Agostino, Donadel (1’st Zanetti); Santana, Ljajic (9’st Bolatti), Vargas (30’st Babacar); Mutu.

Next up is a Tuesday Coppa trip to Parma, for which Artur could be back.

(Amazingly, Mutu's teammates were just as pleased for him as he was with himself.)

The first half was deeply forgettable, but the second was better, and Fiorentina battled and believed in themselves the whole way. Hurrah! Mutu getting his first goal -- and a well-taken one, at that -- is a relief to everyone, as was Artur's ridiculous save while his whole team were busy celebrating Donadel's disallowed goal.

La Viola are still not far from the bottom, but the defensive crisis seems to have passed (knock on wood), and they've achieved some stability, both of which are very reassuring indeed, particularly given the all the people who are out injured. Sinisa's pleased, anyway, and there haven't been any "Forget saving the children, save us" signs from the tifosi lately -- fingers crossed both those things continue.

Fiorentina 1-0 Cagliari [highlights|ratings table|pagelle: Gazzetta, CF]
Marcatori: 7'st Mutu

Fiorentina: Boruc; De Silvestri, Gamberini, Camporese, Pasqual (34'st Piccini); Donadel, D'Agostino (28'st Zanetti); Santana, Ljajic (43'st Bolatti), Vargas; Mutu.
Cagliari: Agazzi; Laner (1'st Ariaudo), Canini, Astori, Agostini; Naianggolan, Conti, Biondini; Cossu (39'st Ragatzu); Nenè (15'st Lazzari), Matri.

Up next, barring a strike, is Udine away, with Pasqual added to the injury list.

Juve Spam

(Everyone, meet superhero!Artur.)

Even though only a point has come out of them, that's two matches in a row -- against good teams, and without Monty, Frenchie, Mutu and Jojo -- featuring a lot of fight and toughness from La Viola, which is exciting progress indeed. The boys in purple were determined and incredibly organized and, though, they couldn't quite hold out and get the clean sheet, Sinisa must be very pleased indeed -- they've come a long way from the lifeless lumps who played the first couple months of the season. Oh, and Artur is amazing, Camporese is fantastic, and JMV just might be back.

Juventus 1-1 Fiorentina [highlights|pagelle: Gazzetta, CF|ratings table]
Marcatori: 4' autorete Motta (J), 37' st Pepe (J)
Espulsi: Felipe (F)

Juventus: Storari; Motta (36' st Lanzafame), Bonucci, Chiellini, Grosso; Krasic, Felipe Melo, Aquilani (13' st Pepe), Marchisio; Quagliarella, Del Piero (13' st Iaquinta).
Fiorentina: Boruc; Comotto, Camporese (24' st Felipe), Gamberini, Pasqual; D'Agostino, Donadel; Santana, Ljajic (20' st Marchionni), Vargas; Gilardino (11' st Babacar).

Milan Spam

(Adem is sad, but his belly is pleased: Losing means more chocolate.)

Though you'd never know it from listening to the TV announcers (they failed to notice there was anyone on the pitch not named "Zlatan", let alone an entire other team not called "Milan"), Fiorentina played well for long stretches of the match and, particularly given their pressure late in the game, a draw wouldn't have been unjust. Though, as usual, they ended up losing on the road, La Viola definitely showed the fight that's been tragically absent from their performances this season and, as an added bonus, got a solid Serie A debut from Baby Superstar Michele Camporese who, at 18, wasn't even a little scared of either Zlatan's nose or Clarence's thighs.

MILAN 1-0 FIORENTINA [highlights|ratings table|pagelle: Gazzetta, CF]
Marcatori: 45' Ibrahimovic (M)

Milan: Abbiati; Bonera, Nesta, Thiago Silva, Zambrotta; Gattuso, Ambrosini, Flamini; Seedorf (42' st Ronaldinho); Ibrahimovic, Robinho (32' st Boateng).
Fiorentina: Boruc; Comotto, Natali (1' st Camporese), Kroldrup, Pasqual; Donadel, D'Agostino; Marchionni (31' st Vargas), Ljajic, Cerci (15' st Santana); Gilardino.

Up next is a trip to Turin to play Juve. Camporese could well start in the back, what with all the adult central defenders broken or suspended and everything.

Cesena Spam

(Look, he's back!)

Ok, so that was neither spectacular or particularly exciting, and I've certainly not seen every Viola match this season, but of the ones I've seen, that was easily the best. For once, all four defenders didn't suck AT THE SAME TIME (!), Donadel and Santana were nails in front of the backs, Gila was looking like last year's Gila and, after Mutu went off with an injury, they didn't collapse! Well done, ragazzi, and well done Sini for not murdering them all 103 times in the past month.

Fiorentina 1-0 Cesena [highlights|postgame Santana + Comotto| pagelle: Gazzetta + CF|ratings table]
Marcatori: 14' st Gilardino

Fiorentina: Boruc; Comotto, Kroldrup, Gamberini, Pasqual; Donadel, Santana (15' st D'Agostino); Cerci, Mutu (41' Ljaijc), Vargas (39' st Marchionni); Gilardino 7.
Cesena: Antonioli; Lauro (29' st Fatic), Von Bergen, Benalouane, Nagatomo; Schelotto (29' st Ceccarelli), Parolo, Colucci (41' st Ighalo); Jimenez, Giaccherini; Bogdani.
