Hello everybody.
I'm reading "It's not You" by Ramani Durvasul.

I have heard stories of hoovering occurring ten years later. Mercifully, by then most people have moved on, but if you don’t understand what hoovering is, you may get played by love bomb 2.0.

Hoovering happens when someone who is in relationship with narcissistic person gives up and the narcissistic person tries to suck them in like a hoover. Now would you please tell me what 2.0 following bomb means?

It indicates that this is the second version of 'love bomb.' The narcissist once again tries to manipulate you with excessive demonstrations of his or her love for you.

Many of you already know this but someone may find it useful: 2.0 derives from the practice of naming the first updated version of a computer program'2.0'. 2.0 is used freely in casual conversation to indicate that something is 'new and improved'.

In this context, 2.0 is pronounced 'two point O'.
