Hello, and welcome to my blog! Here are some things about me:

  • My name is Evan (Ev for short), but you can also call me Greyson, Grey, or Seven! I also accept Fynn, since it is in the name of my blog.
  • I’m 25 years old
  • My pronouns are he/him
  • I also use neopronouns, including emojipronouns. These pronouns are program/program/programs/programs/programself, 🐺/🐺/🐺s/🐺s/🐺self, and 🦋/🦋/🦋s/🦋s/🦋self (if you really want/need to pronounce the last two sets, then use wolf/wolf/wolfs/wolfs/wolfself and flutter/flutter/flutters/flutters/flutterself, but I prefer these emojipronouns only to be typed out as emojis, not pronounced). I use these pronouns to piss off people who don’t think neopronouns are valid, but I also use them because I think they’re fun and cool 😎
  • You can check out my labels and terms on my pronouns page! But to simplify things, I am an AuDHD gay aspec alovespec genderqueer trans man (still a mouthful, wow).
  • I am not religious. I consider myself to be an agnostic atheist. This does not mean I am an antitheist. I simply believe that people shouldn’t justify their bigotry with their religion.

And here are some things about this blog:

  • All those with good-faith identities are welcome here. Yes, that includes mspec gays/lesbians.
  • If you believe pedophilia, zoophilia, or necrophilia belong in queer spaces, please block me.
  • If you are a radqueer or anything adjacent, please block me.
  • I am pro-Palestine. If you do not stand with Palestine, please block me.
  • GenAI and LLMs are actually really bad. GenAI and LLM supporters please block me.
  • Aces and aros (and other aspecs, including aplatonics, afamilials, analterous beings, and any other anattractional beings—including those on those spectrums and are not completely anattractional in those categories) are LGBTQIA+, even if they have no other label under the queer umbrella. Those who believe otherwise, please block me.
  • Queer is not a slur. Those who believe it is, please block me.
  • TERFs and SWERFs, this is not a safe space for you. If you fall into either of these groups, please block me.
  • You do not need dysphoria to be transgender. If you are a transmed, please block me.
  • Transandrophobia is a real issue and should be addressed alongside transmisogyny and exorsexism. None of these issues minimize the others. We should all support our trans and nonbinary comrades.
  • Love is not what makes us human, and not everyone experiences it. The ability to feel love is morally neutral; both great and horrible deeds can be done in the name of love. If you are alovephobic/lovelessphobic (bigoted against those who don’t experience love), please block me.
  • Cluster B disorders do not deserve the stigmatization they receive. If you think those with such disorders (e.g. NPD or ASPD) are inherently bad beings, please block me.
  • As you may have seen on my pronouns page, I am an anarcho-communist. This may change, it may not. But what I do know is that I am most certainly a leftist. I am still learning; I will always be learning.
  • I do not have a DNI. I know I have suggested blocking me to certain groups of people on here, but I cannot stop you from interacting with this blog. Just know that I have a block button and I am free to use it whenever I please.
  • I also will sometimes post about fandom stuff on here. But most of the time I’ll probably just be reblogging things.

I have a side blog called @foolsrooke that you can check out if you’d like. Though I plan not to be active on it anymore, so you can see some of my old stuff on there. Just as a fair warning, though: I have made some slightly nsfw jokes on there. I will tag them as such (#slightly nsfw) so that you can filter them out if you so choose. I will not be making nsfw jokes on here, but I do swear at times and I may post some suggestive things under read mores.

(Btw, here’s my ko-fi if you want to tip me!)

Thank you for reading, and happy scrolling!

Random bee behavior fact for those who wish to read, just because I feel like it and because it’s late and I’m stalling on sleeping:

Bumblebees look like passive, cuddly, and docile creatures; and they generally are- but they won’t hesitate to defend themselves if they feel their warnings aren’t being seen!

I.e. below, when a bumblebee feels threatened they will raise one or more of their legs into the air, signaling to whatever or whomever may be bothering them as a message essentiality saying: “hey, back off, too close!”

species: top, bombus pascuorum / bottom, bombus impatiens

If their defensive posture goes unnoticed or ignored, they may be pushed into defending themselves by stinging (which is an all around sucky experience for not only you, but also for the bee. (Note that bumblebees do not die after stinging, but it is still stressful for them.) If you ever find yourself getting close to a bumblebee while taking pictures, trying to move them, or just admiring them, remember this posture! If they do this, it is simply asking you to take a step back because it feels it is being threatened! You might get stung.

Now you can understand and use this knowledge to your advantage if you ever come across one in the future. (Of course, because it’s very hard not to anthropomorphize animals, I do admit that they look cute when doing it. Just remember to respect their space!)

Official back off post! 🐝

[ID: a screenshot of a comic speech bubble. The black text in it reads "No matter how open-minded, socially conscious, anti-racist I think I am, I still have old learned hidden biases that I need to examine. It is my responsibility to check myself daily for my stereotypes, prejudices and, ultimately, discrimination." /ID end]

antiracism is a constant process. i was raised in a racist village and it's not easy to get rid of it. i moved away over 10 years ago but those ideas are still haunting me.

also keep in mind that shame + guilt are not conducive to growing as a person. when it comes to "checking yourself" it should be a non-judgemental process. it's not about flagellating yourself for every bad thought or trying to purify your mind of all corruption. it's only when acknowledging your own racist thoughts doesn't fill you with dread that you can really progress past the white guilt of it all.

radical self-acceptance & genuine self-critique are not opposites. they need each other. do not let obsessive-compulsive behaviors colonize your desire to grow as a person.

“chocolate guy” is currently shilling for harry potter so i better not see yall post his shit anymore. anyone who engages with that shit especially for money is scorched earth as far as i’m concerned.

Came right up when I searched it, unfortunately

Tool Tip: Telling everyone that you “always hated [Asshole] the whole time” or you “knew he was bad news” after that person is discovered to be [Asshole] makes the people in your vicinity annoyed. Making fun of [Asshole]’s appearance makes people in your vicinity think you are stupid.

i haven't seen anything about this on my dashboard, so i wanted to share. ICE gestapo killed another human being on tuesday. he leaves behind three sons and his wife, who he has spent the last 35 years building a life with

there is a gofundme supported by the league of united latin american citizens set up to help with funeral costs, legal fees, and supporting his family moving forward.

Sometimes i feel like younger queer kids are getting a bit to bold with openly talking to people they don’t know In The Context Of:

More than once i have had a younger/same age queer person come up to me in public settings and say something about “finding other gays” or clearly clocking me as nonbinary and I’m like :)))))))) hey buddy I’m here with my conservative parents can you fucking not out me :))))))))

Just say you like my outfit or hair and move on, fuck even tell me you like my shoelaces. Don’t call me gay and limp your wrist at me when you don’t even know me? Especially when there’s a bunch of ppl around?

i was out with my ex once when three *very* young queer kids, like thirteen years old, came up to us and asked us “are you guys, you know…” and did the limp wrist thing at us. one of them loudly exclaimed that it was so cool to meet other queer people in real life. this was in public in an unbelievably conservative area - we didn’t even feel safe holding hands because we were surrounded by Mormons. we got lucky that day, but I’m begging y’all to remember that the world doesn’t work like the internet. other queers are real fuckin people. don’t do this shit. OP is right; tell me you like my jacket, or my patches, or the rainbow spokes on my wheelchair, but don’t out either of us!

This used to be standard operating procedure not even ten years ago: NEVER OUT OTHER QUEERS, even if they’re supposedly already out. Never assume that it’s okay to let third parties know that so-and-so is queer. Ever. You never know when you’ve found the one uncle with the heart condition that they can’t bear to risk telling, or the one neighbor who’s just threatening enough that they don’t mention it around, or even the grandma that they haven’t gotten around to mentioning it to yet. You might have just ruined a very important milestone for someone, or you could have put them at actual risk of harm.

Also… stop freaking assuming. If you don’t see a pride flag on them, please don’t just assume. You can’t tell ANYTHING about a person’s gender or partner preferences by what they’re wearing on any given day, what their hair looks like, or whether or not they’re using makeup. You legit cannot, and you look like a jerk when you try.

this is even more important now that Trump is in power.

some people will be choosing to live in the closet and it is not your job to pressure them one way or the other.

protect your lgbtq siblings - honor their choices - and never talk to cops, collaborators, and snitches.

Younger queer people have grown up in a better world, but we’re in a time of backsliding right now. Do NOT out other queer people. Also, I’m not gonna tell you how to present yourselves in public………..but please, I am begging you to re-evaluate HOW safe you are in the current climate.

Even if you live in a big city that does have a noticeable LGBTQ+ scene, don’t do this. You don’t know 1) The people the person you have assumed to be queer is with, and 2) How the people around you will react. Like Astra said, we are living in a time with Trump and his followers running a lot of shit, and feeling comfortable in their environment. The most dangerous person is a comfortable bigot.

You have got to “read the room.” So many queer, and primarily trans people — especially trans women of color — have been killed this year. Last May there was 15 or more THAT WE KNEW OF who had been brutally murdered. Even in “queer-friendly” states. In college towns. In and around big cities, which tend be painted as safer due to them often being overwhelmingly “blue.” The U.S. is not safe right now. From what I have heard, neither is the UK, and parts of Canada are slipping. It’s getting rough out here, and the best way you can protect your queer peers is to know when and where and who it is safe to talk about being queer around.

Anonymous asked:

Is there anything on being non-caring? I'm wondering if im a non-caring loveless person but I dont even know what love is so how'd I know what it means to care? I always felt like I didnt really give a shit about what anybody was saying I just thought it was fun to listen to others sometimes, like talking to people in a video game just to see what people say, but is that really what it means to not care? If I still dont like it when others are sad? If I still want to help people for no reason? If I still want to talk to a few people in particular just cause? Is that what it means to care? I don't know... all I know is that it's certainly not love

🍎<- for finding purposes, not an anon tag

We do those things, and we'd still say we're noncaring!

We'd say caring is like, giving a hoot about somebody or something, that they matter to you. Helping people, and being sad when others are sad seems like a different field entirely! At least, to us.

(Though, the definition of caring is probably best defined by the user, much like love, so, we can't tell you what you are, or aren't.)

A Cop Is A Kind Of Human Trafficker, Or, Why Talking to the Liberals I Love Feels Like Grinding My Face Into Concrete

I was having a conversation with my dad a while back, and the subject of the police came up because my then girlfriend's abusive ex was squatting at her house and neither of us wanted to call the police. He knows I'm an abolitionist, its probably my single most vocal belief. And he says, "I know you've had bad experiences with cops but they're not all bad."

And thats when it occurs to me that he hasn't just disagreed with me during our past conversations on the matter, he literally was not listening. Or, he wasn't equipped to listen. I'll explain later on.

When I was arrested, I was not treated particularly bad by the police, and I've never claimed to have been. I was white, and I was in the closet. From the back of the van they loaded me into after cuffing me, I saw first hand how much worse they treated the black man they arrested on the way to taking me to jail, not even allowing him the dignity of stepping inside his home to dress.

When a liberal hears someone say ACAB, they think they're hearing someone say, in addition to being a police officer, every police officer is a bad person. They're all corrupt, they all beat their partners, etc. And thats closer to the truth than not, genuinely, but its still not what we have ever been saying.

Its not the fault of the acronym, that would be a goofy claim. But a more accurate one could be ACIAKOHT: A Cop Is A Kind Of Human Trafficker.

One of the main things a cop gets paid to do is traffick human beings to do forced labor. When they do this to trans women, this forced labor is sexual, it is sexual slavery, something that the vast majority of people I love will risk in every single interaction they are ever made to have with a police officer. Its a matter of policy, its called V-Coding, google it. Even in cases where no forced labor occurs, they are committing kidnapping.

I love my father, but he isn't equipped to understand this, even to understand that this is the position an abolitionist actually holds, no matter how directly it is stated, because he is white, cis, straight, and petit bourgeois. Every axis he exists on incentivizes him not to understand. Because to him, a cop is someone who exists to protect you and your stuff. Because for someone in his position, thats what they are. I could only hold a negative view of the police, in his mind, if I experienced some particular abuse at their hands. I didn't, except for the part where they kidnapped me. Which is what they get paid to do.

[VD: A TikTok titled "My 10 favorite (inexpensive) holiday gift ideas for the blind & visually impaired." The first clip shows a person pointing up at the title as they voice-over: "These are my ten most favourite gifts for the blind and visually impaired".

The following items are demonstrated in the video and described in the voice-over:

1. Assorted bump dots - Various kinds of stickers with protruding dots on them that can be put onto appliances to make them more tactile.

2. Pocket money brailler - A device that allows you to imprint braille onto paper notes, indicating their value.

3. Liquid level indicator - A device hung on the edge of a container with metal prongs that detect when liquid has reached it.

4. Braille Pop-It - A pop-it with the alphabet in braille on each bubble.

5. Tactile Rubik's cube - A rubik's cube with unique textures for each color.

6. Braille color clothing tags - Tags with braille to indicate what colour a piece of clothing is.

7. Signature guide - A card with a rectangular slit in it to guide the user when writing their signature.

8. Low vision playing cards - Cards with very large and colorful numbers on them.

9. Pop-A-Cell - A plastic card with 6 bubbles you can indent to practice braille characters.

10. Talking keychain clock - A clock that says the time aloud when you press a button.

End VD.]

rbing again to boost my description! please make sure to rb this with a description! its a bit painfully ironic to see a video about blind people without a description... yknow, so visually impaired people can access it

Does anyone have a link to download the canceled leaked Louder and Prouder episode? I know there were some people spreading the word of where to download the canceled leaked Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur episode “The Gatekeeper” (also featuring and centering a black trans person). When I looked up the canceled Louder and Prouder episode “They’re Gonna Love Me” I found a YouTube video but it had been blocked by Disney (typical🙄).
