heres something thats super easy and yummy. all you need is ritz crackers a bag of dark chocolate and creme de menthe [you can get it at ac moore] its a lil tiny bottle of mint flavor stuff. kinda smells like mouth wash.
anyways heres the recipe
melt chocolates according to directions, mix in 2-3 drops of creme de menthe. coat crackers. lay out on parchment paper. you can add sprinkles to the top which is a nice touch and they can be placed in the freezer to help get the chocolate to harden faster. usually by hte time ur done with a tray the one in the freezer is ready to come out.
however i dont recommend using a cooling rack since the chocolates seems to harden around the wire bits and takes of bits of the bottom.
hope that you enjoy!
i need to make macaroni salad for sunday and have no idea how to. does anyone have a super simple recipe for one?
I'm such a big kid sometimes.
WORMS IN OUTER SPACE!!!!!
You will need:
1 pkg devils food cake mix
1 bag Gummi Worms
Star Shaped Cupcake tins
Package chocolate Pudding mix
Oreo Cookies
Follow the directions on the devils food cake mix and the chocolate pudding mix. Pour cake mix into cupcake tins and follow directions for baking. After they've finished cooking and cooled, cut the rounded tops off and set aside. Arrange three worms onto the star so they look like they're crawling off. Add a spoonful of chocolate pudding. Crumble one oreo on top of pudding and replace the top of the cupcake.
Enjoy.
This was inspired by a giant bucket of gummi worms my dad bought for my daughter and damn were they good.

i found this online and was wondering what other cheese i could use rather then the swiss....
4 oz uncooked angel hair (capellini) pasta
18 to 25 slices baguette or French bread, about 1/4 inch thick
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
3/4 cup shredded Swiss cheese (3 oz)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh or 2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
1 container (10 oz) refrigerated Alfredo pasta sauce
3 medium plum (Roma) tomatoes, chopped
2 medium green onions, sliced (2 tablespoons)
1 tablespoon grated Romano or Parmesan cheese
1. Heat oven to 400°F. Cook and drain pasta as directed on package.
2. Meanwhile, brush bread with butter. In 9-inch glass pie plate, line bottom and side with bread, butter sides up and slightly overlapping slices. Bake about 10 minutes or until light brown.
3. Meanwhile, in large bowl, mix Swiss cheese, 1 tablespoon of the basil and the Alfredo sauce.
4. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F. Add pasta to sauce mixture; toss to mix thoroughly. Spoon into baked crust. Sprinkle with tomatoes, onions and Romano cheese.
5. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until hot. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting. Sprinkle with remaining 1 tablespoon basil.
this is one that i came up with a few years back...
take boneless skinless chicken breast, dice it up and throw it in a hot frying pan. mix in fresh rosemary, fresh spearmint, garlic salt, onion powder, parsely, a tiny bit of celery seed, and sprinkle with italian bread crumbs and vanilla. when chicken is done drizzle hony over it and brown. [keep the chicken moving after u put the honey on to keep it from burning]
i never measured anything out for it, i just kinda sprinkled everything over top so each piece gets some on it. u can add any spices that u like too... pretty much i jsut used the ones that i had growing and that i use the most.
its really good with rice or mashed potatos.
*From the girl that doesnt measure for shit*
Take enough cooked angelhair pasta to feed whoever you're aiming to feed.
Saute it in butter and as you're cooking add parmesan cheese. Add approx. 2 tablespoons cream cheese.
Salt, pepper and a touch garlic to taste.
if the cheese is not creamy enough add a touch of milk as its cooking.
Enjoy!!
Would you guys use a cook book that relied more on making the recipe work for you and your family and less on measurements and such?
I'm wondering.
