A/N: This story is a multitude of firsts for me... It is my first foray into the world of Southern Vampire Mysteries and my first attempt at writing a story from the first-person point of view. With this in mind, I beg all of you to bear with me as this story progresses since it may not be my best writing...
Timeline A/N: For this story I will be following the generally-accepted Sookieverse timeline which can easily be found by searching around on Charlaine Harris’ website. In this timeline it states that Sookie celebrated her 27th birthday on July 1, 2005, making her 27 during the events of Dead and Gone (which happened in early January 2006) and therefore she is 28 years old at the beginning of my story (December 31, 2006).

A/N: This was an exercise in writing for me. No dialog, no names, and second-person narrative. Plus, its my first foray into the Alice fandom. That said, sorry if it sucks!
