Ubiquitous expression of SmoxdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cPa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 results in widening of the larval wing disc. Widening is also seen with the pan-wing disc drivers Scer\GAL4sd-SG29.1 or Scer\GAL432B, No widening is seen when SmoxdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cPa is expressed under the control of either of the partial wing disc drivers Scer\GAL4nub-AC-62 or Scer\GAL4tsh-md621, but widening is detected when both drivers are used simultaneously. No widening is seen with the partial wing disc drivers Scer\GAL4A9 or Scer\GAL471B and minimal widening is seen with Scer\GAL4C-765. Wings discs expressing SmoxdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cPa with either Scer\GAL4C-765 or Scer\GAL4nub-AC-62 and the prothoracic gland driver Scer\GAL4phm.PO also appear normal. Expression of SmoxdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cPa under the control of Scer\GAL4esg-05730B also produces the wing disc widening phenotype.

Expression of SmoxdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cPa under the control of Scer\GAL4vg.MQ.Exel results in moderately blistered wings.

Co-expression of babodsRNA.Scer\UAS suppresses the wing discs widening phenotype seen in third instar larvae expressing SmoxdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cPa under the control of Scer\GAL4esg-05730B.

Co-expression of SmoxdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cPa with baboQ302D.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4vg.MQ.Exel makes the baboQ302D.Scer\UAS-induced phenotype more severe. The resulting wings are more wrinkled and shrunken than wings where either construct is expressed alone.
