Expressing Hnf4^JF02539 under the control of Scer\GAL4^Ugt36A1.PK induces an increase in lipid droplet content, number, and size (BODIPY staining) in all third instar larval garland nephrocytes, as compared to controls. Likewise, expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^sns.GCN also induces an increase in lipid droplet content (BODIPY staining) in third instar larval nephrocytes, as compared to controls.
