      Expression of shgdNc.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-rs under the control of either Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16 or Scer\GAL4upd1.PU results in significantly decreased numbers of hub cells, germline stem cells and cyst stem cells in the testicular niche.
