i sent out an email to everyone, but i'm posting here too. yay.


you know that email that was sent out, with the attachment about the final report format? well i saved it to my computer i think but i must have put it in the wrong folder because i can't find it anywhere. and i deleted it to make room in my inbox because it took up kind of a lot of space.

anyway, the point is, it would be great if someone could forward it to me. thanksabunch.


also, maru, we need to talk about your background info. and if any of the stuff from mike needs to go in there (big d finally found it, and i now have it in my possession, although i've not looked at it very much).

here's an idea: when you finish your section for the final report, post it here (under lj-cut so it doesn't take up huge amounts of space) for review by everyone

We're writing up the report now, but we need some numbers. See if you can get this to us by tomorrow - I know it's a short notice, but please try!

Need statistics for fatalities and accidents on the roads in Arlington (wish we had it in time for the report to be written up - but it might not be too late if we can arrange a date for a quick meeting. Someone should really call him instead.)

Whoever has a chance to call Mike, please do so and get all of this information. Angela needs it for the report.
* Any and all numbers on traffic fatalities in Arlington.
*Location of an ideal automated crosswalk.
*How to go about installing a crosswalk.
*Who to contact for it.
*Costs for running a system like this for a year (have Chris/Michele/Peach give numbers for the system).

This might be something that other members of the team might know:
*How long it's going to last.
*Temperature range.

I think we should get the others to make LJs so we can communicate via LJ and probably get our progress reports done better - the message boards that they have on the MIT page is pretty bad if you ask me (and the people who post there are really ridiculous). Who thinks they can convince the others? (I'll bump you to moderator if you can convince Angela or Mr Duranceau, hands down!)

PS - does anyone have any ideas for user icon pictures?

Chris - if you can post the tentative layout of the crosswalk so far that would be awesome.
