Feeling very lost right now.

Slept in too late today, so can't get the stuff I need done.

Work has been kicking my ass, but at least I'm making some decent money (not that I've got any to spare at the moment, but I've got enough to cover everything thus far).

Never thought I'd be working this kind of job, but damn does it feel good to be employed again.




In other parts, life is going amazingly well. There are many things I couldn't ask for better of. Except that I wish I'd set my alarm last night instead of passing out. Looking forward to us hiring some extra people so I'm no longer working double what I was hired for.


Shouldn't be complaining, nor posting. Get some work done before going to work.

Had a wonderful weekend, and life has been pretty stellar in general. Things were a bit rocky for several months up here, but it's all turning around full circle.

I am very lucky to have so many wonderful people in my life.

So, the last couple weeks have been revitalizing, in a very awesome way. Things will slow down a bit now, as every evening won't be quite as tied up, but I'll have to find other ways of staying busy.

I am, however, very out of shape, as I discovered this afternoon. I went to take my walk (which I haven't done in about a month) with an extra 50 lbs or so of extra weight. It'll be fun walking back home, I'm sure.



Hmm.. should go and scour the library for movies before they close.

I'm currently thirty four thousand feet in the air, and updating LJ. I am amused.


Flight ended up delayed a bit, but we should be starting descent any moment now.

Interesting drive home this evening. Normally when I'm making a longish (hour+) drive by myself in the dark, I tend to overthink things, and turn myself morose and/or depressed. Whether or not these feelings have merit is regardless, it's the mood I get in. Tonight, I had nothing to get morose over. It was a good feeling.


In other words, had an interesting day today full of statues, good company, surprise encounters, games, and more good company.

Tomorrow is my last full day in Atlanta, overall the trip has been very good. Certain things could've done with some improvement, but am overall in a much better frame of mind.. ready to get back up to MN and tackle life again.

Why can't more days be like yesterday?

I wanted to post something, but have neither energy nor topic to do so with.

Yesterday I drove down to Carver, where Chris' grandparents have a full shop. Pulled my bumper back out, so now I can open my hood, and my tire no longer grates against the frame of my car. Not perfect, but workable for sure. Much less worried about driving it now. Afterwards, went down to Fleet Farm, which would be an amazing place if I had money to spend, then back to Chaska for some lemon herb chicken and packet making and making plans for our new PC group for Alliance. Grabbed Brent on the way back from a jaunt up to Home Depot for nail plates for armor making. More plans made. Left rather late, and drove my freshly healed car back home.

Spent most of today out taking care of errands. Bank fraud almost cleared up, should have everything back in three or four weeks, once paperwork gets here and sent back and verified and whatever other hoops I gotta fit through. Will be nice when I can get this all cleared up and leave Wachovia way behind.

Been slacking on walking a bit this week, but still keeping the weight off. I think I got about 12 miles in on Tuesday, but no more than two or three the rest of the week.

And that's all I have for today.

So, spent the majority of the day dealing between Paypal and Wachovia. Looks like everything'll be settled in, oh, another two or three weeks or so. Gotta follow up more tomorrow. Bleh.

Then walked down to the park, laid about and read for a bit. Was all good until a band came and started playing loud folk and bluegrass music, that was giving me a headache. I then returned to my walking -- all in all about 12-14 miles today, I wasn't good about keeping track.
