Arriving near the tempest, Nifl senses Múspell's presence. She stops to grant Fjorm her power as her champion, telling her only to transform when in battle with his champion. Nifl reminds Fjorm that it matters not who her opponent is, reminding her that she must win.

Returning to Múspell, he asks Laegjarn a question regarding the outcome after granting her his power. Laegjarn concludes that the outcome should be a draw as the two god's power are equal. Being in a good mood, Múspell clues Laejgarn on a secret, that the outcome of the battle was already decided, as written the the Twilit Runes. The scene cuts to Thórr and Loki, who explain the Twilit Runes, a prophecy of an unavoidable future. Written by the creator, outlining the end of the world.
