Role

Dimitri: The Protector, based on Dimitri's appearance during the academy arc in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, was first made available from July 22, 2019 – August 7, 2019 as part of the New Heroes: Three Houses summoning event. He was the first Hero to come with Lull Atk/Def. His personal weapon is the Noble Lance, which was able to be refined after the 7.2.0 Update on February 6, 2023. He became a Resplendent Hero with an outfit based on Jötunheimr on October 10, 2024.

Dimitri is fought during Book III, Chapter 9, in Part 2 and Part 5. He features in the Tactics Drills twice, used during Skill Studies 58 and Grandmaster 61. He additionally features in the Joining Forces Forging Bonds event, alongside Byleth: Proven Professor, Claude: The Schemer, and Edelgard: The Future, granting the Lion Insignia and Lion Insignia EX. He also appears during story sequences in the following Forging Bonds:

Dimitri appeared as the boss of Floors 56-60 of the Tap Battle event Illusory Dungeon: Three Houses, which ran from July 25, 2019 – August 15, 2019 and reran from December 2, 2024 – December 16, 2024. He was also a featured Hero during the sixteenth Grand Conquests, which ran from July 26, 2019 – August 1, 2019, where he led the blue army against Edelgard: The Future and Claude: The Schemer.

Dimitri featured in the Voting Gauntlet beginning on January 1, 2020, Kingdoms vs. Empires, where he lost in Round 1 to Edelgard: The Future. He is also a featured Hero for one Bound Hero Battle, Edelgard & Dimitri, which was first made available on March 19, 2020 and features him alongside Edelgard: The Future. Additionally, he was one of the featured Heroes in the twelfth Hall of Forms, which ran from November 21, 2020 – December 5, 2020, alongside Edelgard: The Future, Claude: The Schemer, and Hubert: Sinister Servant.

Resplendent Dimitri's sprite was adjusted during the 9.0.0 Update on December 5, 2024, adding additional detail to his armor.

Dimitri: King of Faerghus, based on Dimitri's appearance as a Great Lord during the war arc of Three Houses, was first made available from August 18, 2020 – September 8, 2020 as part of the New Heroes: A New Future summoning event, due to Dimitri receiving first place in Choose Your Legends: Round 4. He was the first Hero to come with Atk/Def Unity. His personal weapon is Moon Gradivus, which was able to be refined after the 6.9.0 Update on September 6, 2022, and his personal skill is Blue Lion Rule. He became a Resplendent Hero with an outfit based on Yggdrasill on December 10, 2025.

Dimitri is fought during Book IV, Chapter 10, in Part 2 and Part 5. He features in the Tactics Drills once, used during Skill Studies 92. He additionally features in the A New Future Forging Bonds event, alongside Lysithea: Earnest Seeker, Claude: Almyra's King, and Edelgard: Adrestian Emperor, granting the Lion's Eye Patch and Lion's Eye Patch EX. Additionally, he appears during story sequences in the Forging Bonds event The Path's End.

Dimitri featured in the Voting Gauntlet beginning on September 1, 2020, Brave Reprisals, where he won in the Final Round against Edelgard: Adrestian Emperor. He was also a featured Hero during the eighth Frontline Phalanx, which ran from June 14, 2022 – June 24, 2022, joining forces with Lysithea: Earnest Seeker, Claude: Almyra's King, and Edelgard: Adrestian Emperor to repel Nemesis: King of Liberation. Additionally, he was one of the featured Heroes in the thirty-ninth Hall of Forms, which ran from February 22, 2023 – March 8, 2023 and reran from November 13, 2024 – November 20, 2024, alongside Claude: Almyra's King, Edelgard: Adrestian Emperor, and Lysithea: Earnest Seeker.

Dimitri: Savior King, based on Dimitri's appearance as a High Lord during the war arc of Fire Emblem: Three Houses, is a Legendary Hero who was first made available from October 30, 2020 – November 6, 2020 as part of the Legendary Heroes - Dimitri summoning event. He was the first Hero to come with Odd Tempest. His personal weapon is Areadbhar, which was able to be refined as part of the 7.11.0 Update on November 6, 2023, and his personal skill is Atrocity, which he currently only shares with Dimitri: Sky-Blue Lion. During the 7.11.0 Update, he also received the skills Atk/Spd Clash and Atrocity II.

As a Legendary Hero, Dimitri is fought during a Legendary Hero Battle, the eponymous Dimitri: Savior King, where the reward for beating him on Abyssal is the Gold Kagami Mochi. He features in the Tactics Drills twice, used during Skill Studies 99 and Grandmaster 85. He also featured in the Voting Gauntlet beginning on February 27, 2021, AHR 2021 Finals, which served as the finale of A Hero Rises 2021, in which he scored third place; he lost in Round 2 to Lyn: Ninja-Friend Duo.

The appearance of his weapon, Areadbhar, when refined was changed during the 8.8.0 Update on August 6, 2023, adding the glow effect akin to other Heroes' Relics previously added to the game; this matches how the weapon appears when wielded by Dimitri in Three Houses.

His personal weapon is the Vengeful Lance, which was able to be refined as part of the 9.7.0 Update on July 7, 2025, and his personal skill is Murderous Lion.

Dimitri is fought during Book V, Chapter 7, in Part 3 and Part 5. He features in the Forces of Will Forging Bonds event, alongside Morgan: Fated Darkness, Edelgard: Hegemon Husk, and Morgan: Devoted Darkness, granting the Spearhead and Spearhead EX. Additionally, he makes an appearance during story sequences in the Forging Bonds event Darkness to Light.

Dimitri was a featured Hero during the twenty-ninth Grand Conquests, which ran from January 24, 2022 – January 30, 2022, where he led the blue army against Edelgard: Flame Emperor and Claude: King of Unification. He was also one of the featured Heroes in the fifty-second Hall of Forms, which ran from March 21, 2024 – April 4, 2024 and reran from January 9, 2026 – January 17, 2026, alongside Sothis: Girl on the Throne, Edelgard: Hegemon Husk, and Bernadetta: Frosty Shut-In. He was the first Hero to come with No Quarter. His personal weapon is the Blue Yule Axe and his personal skill is Barbarity.

Dimitri is fought during Paralogue 92, in Part 1 and Part 3. He also appears during story sequences in the Tempest Trials+ event Nihility & Dream Finale. Additionally, he was a featured Hero in two Voting Gauntlets. The first, AHR 2024 Finals, began on March 1, 2024 and served as the finale of A Hero Rises 2024, in which he scored fifth place; he lost in Round 2 to Peony: Cherished Dream. The second, Snowfield Warm-Up, began on December 26, 2024, during which he lost in Round 2 to Shez: Snowfield Envoy.

Dimitri's appearance is used for one accessory, 8-Bit Dimitri, which was first made available during the 7.2.0 Update on February 6, 2023, after which it was able to be purchased at the Accessory Shop for 380 R&R Affinity. Emblem Dimitri, based on his appearance in Engage, makes a cameo appearance when Edelgard: Of Rivals activates a Special Skill or defeats an opponent. A plush of Dimitri also appears when Byleth: Frosty Professors activates a Special or Duo Skill.

Dimitri: The Protector
The Blue Lions is one of the houses that make up the Officers Academy in central Fódlan. This house is where students from the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus gather, and it's led by none other than the kingdom's prince and future king, Dimitri! Dimitri is chivalrous and kind, and he has a good reputation for his strong sense of duty and responsibility. People also like him because he doesn't let his royal standing come between him and others! With outstanding skills like his, he truly deserves his leadership of the Blue Lions. He's an expert with lances in particular! Sometimes, Dimitri seems to have a lot on his mind. But even so, I'm sure that won't stop him from being a great friend to the Order of Heroes!

Dimitri: King of Faerghus
The Holy Kingdom of Faerghus is one of the three great powers of Fódlan. And now Dimitri, who became king after enduring great hardship, has answered our summoner's call, bringing the lance Moon Gradivus with him! Dimitri's parents and family perished in a massacre during his childhood, and from that terrible day onward, he could think of nothing but revenge. When the Adrestian Empire began its war, Dimitri snapped, and slaughtered countless imperial soldiers in acts of blind vengeance. But it wasn't too late to bring him back from the brink! Byleth and Dimitri's other allies rallied around him, setting him back on his rightful path as king once more. Having found something to live for, Dimitri also rediscovered his just and true spirit. Dimitri: Savior King
Dimitri is the leader of the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus. You might be misled by his seemingly slender frame, but he's seriously strong! When he was a young child, Dimitri lost both of his parents. This incident left a terrible scar on his heart, and even when later he entered the Officers Academy at Garreg Mach Monastery, the wound still showed no sign of healing. Sadly, a number of other tragedies would follow. For a while, Dimitri was lost to utter despair, but with the support of his professor from the academy and his fellow classmates, he regained the emotional fortitude his kingdom needed. Having gotten back on his feet, Dimitri joined the war against the Adrestian Empire to put a stop to the strife that had befallen Fódlan—with the professor he so respected and the classmates he relied on right by his side!

Today I'll be introducing you to Dimitri from the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus! That said, I'm a little worried about that gloomy look on his face... Dimitri was the only royal who survived an underhanded plot that took place when he was a child. His hatred toward the schemers who took the lives of his family never left him, enveloping his heart in a deep darkness. When the Adrestian Empire embarked on its conquest of Fódlan, Dimitri returned to Faerghus to fight back. But the kingdom was hardly unified, and there were many struggles ahead. Having been the victim of plots and betrayals for so long, Dimitri closed his heart off to the world. I wonder if he'll ever smile again...

He's certainly pulled off a stylish look with that sun visor and swimsuit combination! By the way, that brooch he's using to fasten his fetching towel-cape matches the one he got for his professor's birthday! Oh, and check out the palm leaves he's used to decorate that large wooden oar he's carrying! That thing looks pretty heavy, but it doesn't seem like he's having any trouble at all using it one-handed! Dimitri always seems to have so much on his mind. I hope he takes this opportunity to relax, enjoy his vacation, and blow away those dark clouds a little!
