Blue Lion Dancers
| ||||||
|
Blue Lion Dancers (Japanese: 青獅子舞姫隊 Blue lion dancer girls) is a battalion that appears in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, exclusive to the Blue Lions route. While it requires a high level of Authority skill to be equipped, it offers good resistance and large stat boosts in Avoid and Charm, as well decent boosts in Protection and Resistance. Furthermore, it also comes with small maluses in Strength and Magic, making it less suitable for an offensive-oriented unit. It is one of only two battalions that grants access to the powerful Dance of the Goddess gambit, and is available significantly earlier for the Blue Lions than the other option, Opera Co. Volunteers.
It reappears in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes as a sword-wielding battalion. However, unlike most sword-wielding battalions, it has an advantage over tome-wielding foes instead of axe-wielding ones. The battalion takes the role of the highest-rank battalion providing an advantage over tome-wielding foes available at the Battalion Master, a role normally filled by Brawling battalions, when playing the Azure Gleam route.

Trivia
- Despite being a sword battalion, the Blue Lion dancers are treated as the equivalent to the Black Eagle Brawlers and Golden Deer Brawlers battalions in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.
- In Warriors: Three Hopes, the Blue Lion Dancers provides an advantage over tome-wielding foes instead of axe-wielding ones like other sword-wielding battalions. It shares this distinction with the Opera Co. Volunteers.
- Incidentally, both battalions used the Dance of the Goddess gambit in Three Houses.
- This is likely to mirror the Dancer class, which also provides an advantage over tomes rather than axes in Warriors: Three Hopes.
