Wow, I am on a ROLL lately with fanfics! I have no idea why my muses are so active. :-/ Whatever, I'm not complaining!

I just updated Taijitu, my four year old Devil May Cry story involving the Sparda twins.

Also, this next story kind of came to me out of nowhere because I've been getting really into the TRON universe. (I blame the graphics for dragging me into such an interesting fandom.) Oh my. I found this Lord of the Rings drabble I wrote waaaaay back in 2009 and yet never shared with anyone. ^^; Upon re-reading it, I rather like it, so I'm going to be brave and share it. :-/

ANYWAYS, I saw Iron Man 2 and How to Train a Dragon in the last two days! 83

First, Iron Man 2 was great... but at the same time, not. It's not as great as the first, but still a fun watch. Some of the scenes did feel very forced, as if the director had a moment of "well, we haven't had funny dialogue in a while, let's just toss it in here". RDJ is, as always, fantastic at being witty. Mikey's Russian accent was FANTASTIC, although I had a strange fascination with his very curvy nails. o.o; Scarlet Johansaan... I still don't like her much, but I'll admit, she didn't irritate me in this movie as much as she normally does. I did enjoy her one real fight scene, although I still have a hard time believfing I still have a hard time believing that slender, very curvy women like that can ACTUALLY kick butt. :/ Real martial artists are lean and don't have a ton of curves because your boobs are pretty much the first thing to go if you're super in-shape. :/ On the other hand, I know she trained hard for months so kudo to her, she definitely pulled it off. :)

Then I saw How to Train a Dragon with Lauren, whom I met at Tekkoshocn but actually goes to TCNJ (next to my house). OH MAN, IT WAS AWESOME. It TOTALLY lived up to the hype! At first, I wasn't really impressed because it was cute but still a kiddy movie. Then the dragons BLEW me away. Toothless, the main dragon, is very obviously modeled after a cat and Lauren and I kept squealing about its adorable mannerisms and huge, vivid green eyes. TOO CUTE FOR WORDS! I want one! <3

Anyways, I'm now back home and am in the process of cleaning out a decade's worth of junk from my room so I can store my college stuff properly. I found a lot of my old drawings (from when I was 13 years old!) and my first ballet costumes, so we're going to end up storing them... somewhere. Because eventually, I want to show my kids that their mom was once a kid as well. xD

I'm already starting to miss my Pittsburgh/college buddies. :/ I'm trying to get in touch with a lot of my high school friends, but some of them are still in the process of graduating or won't be done until July.

Strangely, the first person that responded after I graduated was an old friend that told me that he liked me at the very end of (high school) senior year. o.O; I'm probably going to go out to see Iron Man 2 with him tomorrow.

Also, the only boy that I would consider my 'ex' is also in town and wants to catch up. @_@; Strange. I honestly haven't talked to him in six years...

Awkward life is now awkward. xD; I'll keep you guys updated.

EDIT: Unrelated, but omg, there's only two more Space Shuttle missions before it ends. ;A; This makes me sad. This program has been running for longer than I've been alive!

Dude. Graduation is so COMPLICATED. @_@; I have all these lunches/dinners I have to attend, as well as fixing end-of-college things like making sure that anything sent to my university mailbox is now forwarded to my house instead.

Also, everyone always looks ridiculous in graduation robes. xD For some reason, the Masters' robes (not mine, thankfully) look like they suffered some serious sewing mistake because the holes for your hands are only half way down the sleeve, with the rest of the sleeve (which is still a square shape) hanging oddly from your forearms. It's so bizarre. @_@; I wish they looked more graceful, like Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings robes, but YEAH, not going to happen. *geek*

Unfortunately, I found out this morning that even though I meet the requirements for college honors because I've done research, have my name in a published paper and have also presented my research in front of judges two weeks ago, I can't get them because my GPA is only 0.1 too low. *SIGH* Figures.

. . . By the way, I still don't know if I can actually get my diploma. Physical Chemistry grades still aren't up, and I'm still nervous that I failed the course. OTZ Dad keeps telling me that there's no way they'll keep a biology major from graduating because of Physical Chemistry, but... still. This is so nerve wracking.
