This is a gallery of enemies that appear in Final Fantasy XVI. Enemies in bold are stronger enemies or mini-bosses with Will Gauges. Enemies in italics appear only when playing in "Final Fantasy" mode in New Game+.

Bosses
Bosses have their HP and Will Gauges appearing as large gauges at the top of the screen, rather than smaller floating gauges, and their level is hidden from the player. They frequently have cinematic cutscenes with quick time events during the battle. Some bosses can later be encountered as mini-bosses.
Notorious marks
Most marks have a Will Gauge and can be staggered, but some marks instead are swarms of weaker enemies or may be fought alongside such.
