Jonathan

Silly Jon!

Jonathan (age 2) just went up to Savannah's room, stole some smarties from her Halloween stash, brought them down to me (I opened them) and now he's feeding them to me one-by-one. What a good baby. lol

Nerf gun battle!

Just had a house-wide Nerf gun fight with the kids. Good times. I'm sure I'll be finding those little Nerf bullets around the house for the next 10 years. ha.

Throw them in the garbage!

Last night, we were reading Spider-Man, and we came across the part where Peter Parker's uncle was killed.

Gregory thought about this and said: "Why do we bury people in the ground?"
Me: "Well, what else would we do with them?"
Gregory: "Throw them in the garbage!"

LOL!

Flushing them down the toilet was the other option, apparently. hahahaha

Happy 1st Birthday Fat Kitties

"Big Fat Kitty" and the twin "Baby Fat Kitties" turned 1 today (we bought them 1 year ago today), and Savannah said we had to have a birthday party.

We baked cupcakes (complete with rainbow sprinkles!), Big Fat Kitty dressed up, Savannah and I made them each a birthday hat. And let's not forget the colour-coordinated birthday candles, which match the colour of their hats.

Then we sang "Happy Birthday Fat Kitties" to them. (Gregory and Greg got home from hockey just in time to participate in the singing, and eat cupcakes.)

2 hours well spent.

We had to save some cupcakes for tomorrow, because tomorrow Baby Kitty turns 2!

Father's day is tomorrow

Greg: Tomorrow is Father's Day! Do you know what that means?
Gregory: You get presents!
Savannah: And you sleep in!
Gregory: But he sleeps in every day
Savannah: Every day must be father's day!!!

..... well said Savannah. Well said.

Mother's Day!

What an awesome mother's day! Jonathan's gift to me was that he let me sleep in until 11am! 11AM!! WHAT!!! Yes!!!

Greg and the kids cleaned their rooms, and the TV room, and their playroom, and on top of giving me adorable cards, paintings, and writing, crafts, a necklace with their thumbprints on it (made of some kind of clay I think), and adorable little boxes they made themselves AND a new flash! (Yay for camera equipment! Yeah... most women like jewelry, I like camera equipment. haha)

AND Greg is entertaining the kids so that I can be left alone and relax! Wooooooo!!!

Best. Day. Ever!
