New Fiesta Display

I got tired of dusting my collection that was on shelves so I treated myself to a wall unit:

Pretend my hardware is in. I wanted to use jade-ite knobs instead of what came with the shelves and I only had one laying around and sorta need to pay off the new purchase before ordering the knobs.

Anyone else lusting after the new soup tureen? It's so pretty but I think it was something like $280 and I can't justify that especially given my only soups served have come from cans.

Oooo the pretty pretty!

My husband went to get new tires for his car and they ended up costing less then what he budgeted for. I had a rough week at work so he decided to come back with new tires and this:

I'd totally marry him if I wasn't already married to him.

I do have to say the block part isn't the best quality but the knives seem fine.

Fiesta Periwinkle Question

Hi there,

I've never seen this color in person but was wondering if its a light blue, light lavender or what???  I'm getting ready to place an order with Megachina but because I'm in Canada I need a comparison of some sorts before I order it or the Peacock

TIA

Scarlet Fiesta loves brownies

To celebrate our successful move-in and the beginning of the school year, my roomies and I decided to throw a Back 2 School Brownie night, with five different types of brownies (super fudge, mocha, peppermint, dark chocolate chip cookie, and peanut butter) and ridiculous amounts of ice cream. In those anxious moments between laying everything out (Do I have enough spoons? Where did I put the napkins?) and the first guest arriving, we were struck by how lovely the brownie selection looked on the small scarlet bread tray. Ironically, it's the first time I've used this particular piece - it was given to me a while ago for my birthday by a good friend but I didn't ever see myself collecting scarlet. I think the brownies may have changed my mind.

(no subject)

I had my camera out so here's a little randomness for the heck of it.

Sugar & Creamer sets in: The old stuff somewhere between 1938 & 1969 (biggest), the new line and then the little stuff is from the children's Fiesta party tea set.
