When are we doing this night? Tonight or later, just so I know when and should I meet you somewhere, or am I dragging you to my magical circle of fun. The booze was what started this entire thing. It's a requirement. I need to taste this fireball thing.
It's pretty much a circle where my power is amplified. I hope that doesn't freak out out. I really never straight up tell anyone about my powers, but when you didn't freak out right away, you got bonus points.
Red heads are made to talk you into bad decisions. That's in our job description, I think.
Well, who among us hasn't had a bit of a villain arc? I won't judge if you don't. Just as long as you're not an actively practicing baddie. Though I'm sure I'd love to see anything you want to show me.
Oh, a trick, is there? Now you've got me all curious. Though I guess I can drop you a location pin, too.
[ Which he will. It's near the Gotham harbor, secluded, out of the way. No one hangs out there, he knows that for sure, so no one will call the cops about all the fire. Or see anything else that may or may not go on. ]
[Her trick took a little bit more to explain than a pin could answer, so rather than sit there and go through the complete story over text, Bloom decides to follow the directions on her phone to Gotham Harbor. She might have worried a little about it if she wasn't the carrier of one of the more deadly forces in the Otherworld. She had no idea how it rated on earth, or what those Fairies called the "First World" - She imagines she's one of them too now. It's still odd to get used to it all.
Showing up in dark jeans a black long sleeve shirt and black leather jacket, she wouldn't stand out at all if it wasn't for the long red hair that she'd let flow, cascading down her back. She also wore full nighttime makeup. It was a look that said something for meeting a guy she didn't really know.
Sending out a text, she leaned against a container as she waited. She had a feeling that Jason would find her either way, but this was the more polite way of announcing she was here.]
[ She was right about that, in fact. On both accounts.
After all, he figured he could take patrol off for one night. There were a lot of Bat people of various types roaming around these days, and the city seemed a little more quiet than usual tonight. No creeps making too much trouble, so he was probably fine to call it a night just a little bit early and head down to the Harbor to wait. If anyone asked, he could say he was scouting out for trouble here - and he was, to an extent. If something came up, he'd act.
And was it his fault that trouble happened to come in a pretty red package?
Considering who he is, how he was raised, it's hard not to just emerge out of the shadows, a grin concealed behind his helmet for the time being. One perk to the whole masked superhero gig: he can take his time looking her over, savoring her appreciatively, without it being too obvious. ]
You know, they don't usually make arsonists as pretty as you.
[For the most part, Bloom never visited Gotham and so she didn't know much about it. She didn't know that wandering around at night like this was far from a good idea. She also didn't know she'd picked one of the bat/birds that was pretty damn safe to be with, not that they didn't all have their virtue somewhere. She would have to learn.
Right now, she heard his voice and laughed softly at the mask. It was hardly the specialist type uniform she was used to, and they fought nasty things that came for the mind, the body and killed with a single stroke. At least she didn't jump at his presence. Her ex- used to emerge from the side of a building or from in between cars without her knowledge. Not to mention magic did fuck all sorts of weird things. Not everyone was a fire fairy. In fact, she was the only one she knew.
Stalking over to him slowly, she ran a finger down the interesting mask he wore, doing her best to try and take note of how it was attached and at the same time raking him over for any weapons he happened to have out and noticeable. ]
I'm not your typical arsonist, and you aren't the typical chemist either. I don't think I've known one quite like you. You're... a little more warrior-shaped, or specialist as we call them in the Other World.
[ Hey, his mask is cool, alright? Lots of criminals think he's very badass and intimidating.
Of course, he doesn't mind that she's happy to lean in close an run a hand across it. The clasps are well-concealed, in order to keep people trying to remove it that he doesn't want to, but he's sure he can help her out when the time comes. As far as weapons, those are a little more obviously revealed - a shoulder holster and thigh holsters both. Normally, he wants people to know that he's packing, for further intimidation purposes, though if she looks closely - or even knows to look, being all magical - she might see that the magazines have been removed. ]
Not really so much a chemist. More just a guy who knows a guy. [ He's picked up a lot about a lot of things, but he still doesn't consider himself the "smart" one of the ex-Robins. More the cool one, the sexy one, or the muscle, depending on the mood he's in. (Or the failure one, but. Y'know.) ] And I can certainly take care of myself, if that's what you're asking. Though I have a feeling you're not out to put me through my paces that way tonight.
A guy who knows a guy, huh? You know. You strike me as the type that knows a lot of guys.
[From fingering his mask, she trails her fingers lower and almost touches his chest, but then drops her hand away. She wouldn't want to be rude, would she? She's not that type of girl... or is she. They've flirted terribly already, and Bloom has to admit that she's got an itch to know a lot more about this man in the mask.
The way it runs through her mind, it makes her laugh softly. Sudden pictures of another man, a movie about a man in an iron mask runs through her mind. Who knows what sort of man wears a mask and runs around at night. He did say he was a bit of a hero. Walking over to the other side of the container, Bloom glances back at him.]
No, I wasn't so worried about you or I taking care of ourselves. I already had a feeling neither of us are scared of things that go bump at night.

[her eyes glow a soft orange and for fun she pulls fire from nowhere to dance between her fingers, extinguishing it as quickly as she lit it. ]
So, Did you want to play here, or should I take you to the magic circle?
