Summary:
After the failed apocalypse, Crowley and Aziraphale start spending more time together. It would be all rather lovely, if it wasn’t that, inexplicably, Crowley gets summoned quite frequently. When one such summoning interrupts Aziraphale performing his best dessert-eating show for Crowley, he decides he must put an end to it. Or does he?
Hello! I'm very interested in making podfics but I can't seem to find anywhere that explains how to put the audio file into ao3. I'm not the most tech savvy person so I'm hoping you or your followers know. Thank you in advance, I love your account!
There are two ideas you need to understand when you're trying to post media on AO3. Those two ideas are hosting and embedding.
hosting means (basically) storing and sharing. You upload a file to a host and that host then serves your file to the people or websites that try to access it.
embedding is (basically) displaying or presenting.
The host holds the file and shares it with AO3 when you embed it in your work. It then gets displayed when you post.
Both archive.org and soundcloud.com are hosts that can embed directly into AO3. Other hosts might not work but I know that those both do.
Since you're new to podficcing, I'm also going to recommend Azdaema's Newbie's Guide to Podficcing and GodofLaundryBaskets' Keep it Simple: A Highly Biased Podfic Guide for Absolute Beginners.

Reblogging my fic because, after two and a half years, it is finally, indulgently, gratifyingly done!
I started writing it in December '23, inspired by the idea of heavenly surveillance watching everything Aziraphale saw on earth from @gingiekittycat's 'We Can't Keep Meeting Like This'. I set out purely to write something filthy in which Aziraphale had to keep his eyes closed and they couldn't talk because heaven was watching and listening. it got angsty... too angsty to enjoy sexy times in a oneshot. It needed longer.
So I left it, unpublished, for several months and then started to pick away at solving it. Honestly, someone, somewhere (I forget who) - they'd read it for me while it was in beta, i think - misremembered it as published and was trying to track it down. And seeing that it had stayed with them, I felt the need to try to get it into some sort of shape.
Enlisting @lemon-tart-221 and @gaiaseyes451 to help (because they were exceedingly silly and said yes and are exceptional writers in their own right) I ended up with 60lk words of something with a proper Second Coming plot and angst and fluff and so much smut built around variations on the theme of sensory deprivation.
And then I kind of couldn't finish it... and left it hanging... until season three. I came back and I finished it: happily, indulgently, softly. Yay them!
What I ended up with is: The Second Coming is looming and nothing is going to plan. So Aziraphale returns to Earth from Heaven. But he's under constant surveillance, forcing him and Crowley to communicate through touch, silence, and stolen moments rather than words. Together they race to uncover the Metatron's corruption and stop the apocalypse, all while navigating an increasingly desperate, deeply physical love that neither of them can openly express. What begins as a plan to save the world becomes an exploration of intimacy, trust, and what remains when sight, sound, taste, smell, feeling and certainty are taken away.
