I'm a longterm Butch LeatherDyke Amazon. I came out as a Dyke, into Dykewicca, and into leather all in 1981. I've also been in and around the martial arts since 1974 with a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. I'd love to meet some other dykes in the Bay Area to spar with.
I love a good science fiction movie, and currently enjoy Battlestar Galactica with that Amazon hottie Starbuck, bigtime Star Trek lover, also enjoy Star Gate, but would love to see more films, especially Science Fiction, representing us Dykes. Actually, I love watching movies in general, and reading a good book. I love classical music, instrumental music, world music.
Also like thinking and feeling lesbians/dykes who want to connect around friendship, Dyke community and Sisterhood(yay Blood Ties), and especially Dyke/Amazon ritual. Parts of the dyke/lesbian communities need healing, and solidarity. We're becoming more and more invisible, especially us Dyke Butches who are proud of and retain our full Female status. After all, that's why I came out learning to love myself as a different kind of female, an Amazon, and as a Butch lesbian and proud who loves other womyn. Womyn's minds, bodies, spirits....all that is Female. I worship the Sacred Female, both incarnate, and beyond...healing and honoring our Mother Earth and Her womyn.
In a Butch on Butch relationship, we married in the Winter of Love, 2004 in San Francisco.
Valentine's Day is our Special time!!!Actually the whole week is.
Looking forward to going to a womyn's festival this summer, being on womyn's land for a week is necessary for my spiritual empowerment, and to connect with other like-minded Dykes! (Wouldn't mind meeting a cute like minded Butch bottom, am polyamorous.
