I was editing the page Time Skip Fic introducing examples of gapfiller, until I find it in Pride and Prejudice (fandom) a wikilink -- gapfillers -- that redirected me to this page Missing Scene that I noticed to have strong similarities with Time Skip Fic. I believe that in theory the two are the very same thing, as they focus on periods of temporal jump that are missing in the works as a period between seasons of a series or an epilogue of a book. I would like to vote for the mixing of both pages. Addendum, I noticed that the Missing Year page also has the same content. Three pages that quote the same, but with different names. Super recommend that they are merge -- Ellakbhesse (talk) 20:43, 5 October 2025 (UTC)
- I don't have a large opinion about Time Skip and Missing Year, but I do feel strongly that Missing Scene should be its own page. --MPH 20:58, 5 October 2025 (UTC)
- I also believe "Missing Scene" should remain its own page, a missing scene to me can be for a very small amount of time off screen, like the characters could mention they had lunch and we didn't see that so someone writes the scene where they had lunch. Where as Time Skip FIc to me is for a larger amount of time like months, years, etc. It might not be a bad idea to make Missing Year a sub-section of Time Skip fic, but we should probably start a talk page discussion over on that page about that. -- Kingstoken (talk) 21:11, 5 October 2025 (UTC)
- Missing Scene already has a gapfiller redirection. So I really think it should be left separately, but the other pages are very similar so I propose Missing Year and Time Skip Fic are merge -- Ellakbhesse (talk) 22:52, 5 October 2025 (UTC)
