Steve Wilson (AKA Steven H. Wilson) is a fan artist and fan writer active largely in the Star Trek fandom and whose work has appeared in fanzines. He started out publishing his own fanfic in 1984, and quickly met Marion McChesney, Bev Volker and Nancy Kippax. He was adopted into (and later married into) the Contact_(Star_Trek:_TOS_zine) / ClipperCon family. Since then he has produced dozens of parodies for the convention stage, co-founded the Farpoint Convention, formed Prometheus Radio Theatre, which performs at conventions and podcasts, and established Firebringer Press to publish original works by authors from the fan community. He is also a professional author and comic writer, among many other things:
...have you noticed that on my website, on Twitter, on the PR for cons where I’m appearing, I always have multiple titles? Usually “Author, Publisher, Podcaster.” And that’s a short list. I’m also a convention planner, a stage actor, a voice actor, a director, a comic writer, an audio dramatist, an IT geek, which means I’m a programmer, a web developer, a database administrator, a data analyst, a project manager, a division chief… it’s a long list. And I’m not enumerating it so I can brag. I’m doing it to point out that I do a lot of things, and a lot of the people I deal with regularly only know about one or two of the things I do day in and day out. I frequently get approached by people at my day job who say, “I didn’t know you wrote comics!” or “I didn’t know you had a podcast,” or “I didn’t know you wrote books.” And I frequently talk to people at conventions who know me from stage shows, but don’t know about the podcast, or who know the podcast, but didn’t realize I have ten titles for sale on Amazon, or books on the shelves of their local library.
Steve has given blanket permission for his fanart to appear on Fanlore.

Skits and Radio Shows
From 1987 until 2009, I wrote parodies of films and TV shows to be performed at Baltimore-area SF cons. Since I retired, some unknown named Peter David has cornered the market… I directed most of these, and they were produced under the auspices of The Not Ready for Paramount Players, Cheap Treks and The Usual Suspects.
