Felicity is a 1998–2002 TV series created by J. J. Abrams and Matt Reeves and starring Keri Russell as Felicity Porter, a recent high school graduate who abruptly changes her college plans to follow her crush to New York City.

It has a small fanworks fandom, with 40 stories on Fanfiction.net and 11 works on Archive of Our Own as of 2025. Works most commonly focus on Felicity/Ben or Felicity/Noel, the ships that form the canonical love triangle.

While on the air, Felicity had a strong Internet presence. As a WB show, it was one of the TV shows featured on ACMEcity, and TPTB were generally supportive of Felicity fansites in a time when other fansites were receiving C&Ds:

"It's frankly the embracing of fans that is so much more important than trying to quash them," says Tony Krantz, CEO of Imagine Television, producer of the WB college drama Felicity, which has an active online following.

"An individual publishing photographs from Felicity is insignificant. It's not going to change our bottom line one penny," Krantz says. Instead, "it's going to create a richer experience for that particular fan and the people who click onto that particular Web site. If we can encourage that ... that's what we're going to do."

In 2000, an extensive letter-writing campaign helped convince the network to bring the show back for a third season[2][3] after a second-season ratings drop blamed partly on Keri Russell cutting her hair.[4]
